Today’s Prayer
Baghdad Time is: Tuesday, February 9 - 1:27 pm
9-Disrupt Evil Alliances
Scripture: “Confuse the wicked, O Lord, confound their speech, for I see violence and strife in the city. Day and night they prowl about on its walls; malice and abuse are within it. Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets.” -Psalm 55:9-11
Prayer: Father, Your sovereignty rules over all. You alone are God and there is no other; You are the Judge of the earth, and one day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord to Your eternal glory.
Father, we need Your help. We come before Your throne and ask that You would divide and confuse the plans of the men who are dedicated to violence in Baghdad. Disrupt the ungodly alliances that have been formed, and release division and strife into the camp of those who devise wickedness.
Lord, we asked that mistrust, doubt, and fear would cloud the decisions of those who seek violence: confound the wicked who work against the good people of Baghdad. Break down their channels of communication and make this day, a day of babbling in the camp of the enemy. In Jesus name we ask this. Amen.

For the choir director: A psalm of David.
1 O LORD, I have come to you for protection;
don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me, for you do what is right.
2 Turn your ear to listen to me;
rescue me quickly.
Be my rock of protection,
a fortress where I will be safe.
3 You are my rock and my fortress.
For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
4 Pull me from the trap my enemies set for me,
for I find protection in you alone.
5 I entrust my spirit into your hand.
Rescue me, LORD, for you are a faithful God.
I pray this salm over Baghdad
January 9th, 2010 at 9:06 pm
Dear Father I pray that you would stay the hand of the wicked who come to kill and destroy. Father fill their hearts and minds with your Holy Spirit. Turn them from their wicked ways. Protect the peace loving citizens of Iraq and may they work together to win their freedom. Bless each and everyone who is putting themselves in danger to protect the innocent. I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Dear Lord: Please cover our US Soldier’s heads in the Day of Battle. Make them claim Your Holy Promises that “No weapon formed against them will prosper.”
They need to realize that there is also an invisible war going on around them that needs to be fought just as hard and with Jesus they are guaranteed to win!
“All power in Heaven and Earth has been given unto me! Go ye therefore unto all nations, ……in My Name and nothing by anymeans shall harm you.”
Who said that and when? Jesus said that to His believers immediately before ascending in a cloud to sit at the right hand of the Father.
How can we doubt our authority in Jesus Name? God is not a liar and faith is currency in Heaven. “Without faith it is impossible to please God.”
By faith we claim dominion over the confused, babbling and violent people bent on destroying life in Baghdad.
We call forth a pervasive peaceful spirit to descend upon Afghanistan which will disarm them and cause them to go back to their homes and live the life that God intended for them….one of enjoying their families, friends, and beautiful countryside.
Dear Lord, let peace flow like a river, flooding every dry place, swishing around the bends, filling empty wells, watering gardens, trees and grass and refreshing the people.
Didn’t Jesus say that He was the Prince of Peace and to drink from His well of living water?
Dear US Soldiers, like Jesus, you have said, “I must needs go through Samaria.” (place of testing) Bring with you then, God’s living water, Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

There is none like You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! We give You all praise, glory, honor and power, all dominion and might. Holy is Your name!
We are in agreement, Lord, in this matter of confusion of the wicked, the wiping away of vengeance, and the care of the people of Sadr City. We know that all of the needs that are embodied in these issues are on Your heavenly radar. We are grateful that our Lord and Savior is seated at Your right hand, O Lord, ever making intercession for us and everyone in the world.
O how great is Your love, Your forgiveness, and Your favor. We lift high the name of Jesus, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Rohi. Be forever blessed and praised! Hallelujah and amen!

Father, thank You for beginning to open the eyes of the people to see the dangers our country is in. We thank You that the people are beginning to see we have an enemy and how much we owe our troops. It is only because of them we do not live in fear of warplanes flying overhead. Guide us, Lord, help us to see what we need to do to stop the pillage being done to us and our nation. Give us a leader in the media who will speak the Truth. Help our nation to not fall like Rome from within. Father, we pray protection for each and every one of our young men and women in harm’s way. We pray for Godly leaders for our nation and those other nations being misled by the evil one. We pray for world peace. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for Godly wisdom among the people. We pray for freedom from tyrants for those who yearn for peace. Your Will be done, LORD. In Jesus’ Name, we pray, Amen
January 9th, 2010 at 2:14 pm
Amen to these prayers, Father. Send a spirit of confusion into the camps of the enemy. May all the enemy’s planned come to nothing. Reveal what is being done in the darkness for evil. Bring wicked plans to light, Lord. Let the people of Iraq respond with revulsion to the spirit of death that has held them captive. May they cry out to you for the spirit of truth so they can find a way out of the valley of death into life in Jesus - the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Father, God, Your precious people in Baghdad needs Your help. We come before Your throne of Grace and ask You to divide and confuse the plans of those who are evil and full of hate, and dedicated to violence in Baghdad. Disrupt heavenly Father all the ungodly alliances and release division and strife into the camps of the wicked ones.
Lord, I RELLEASE Your authoritive power, Your Judgement and Justice to bring nothing but mistrust, doubt, and fear that would cloud the decisions of those who seek and bring forth violence. Bring confussion to the wicked ones working against the good people of Baghdad. LORD, You and You only have power and authority to break down all their channels of communication in the camp of the enemy, and make this day, a day of babbling, like you did when man was building the “Tower of Babble”. In Jesus name we ask this. Amen.
January 9th, 2010 at 10:41 am
Lord, we pray that the enemy in Iraq would begin to fight themselves. Lord, we pray that you would bring confusion into the enemy camp. We pray that the spoils of freedom, ultimately true freedom in Christ, would be theirs. Lord, we pray for a special hedge of protection on our troops. Lord, we know that many in our armed forces are also in need of freedom in you. Lord, may Operation Iraqi Freedom not only bring true freedom to the Iraqis, but to all those who are there fighting for it as well. In Jesus holy, mighty name we pray. Amen and Amen.

Father, I ask for silence from terrorist guns and bombs today. Thwart the plans of the evil ones. I ask for no deaths today of innocent civilians. No parent should have to bury their children and no children should be left orphans. I ask you for protection of our soldiers today and for protection for the elderly, poor and needy of Iraq and Afghanistan. I pray for salvation to come to these lands and also America, since we seem to have forgotten you Lord Jesus. We should put you first in all things, and America has been putting you last, and not following you at all. Please forgive America for her sins Father. In Jesus name, Amen and Amen

Father, every good gift, every perfect gift, is from above… You are the best gift of all. Lord, we pray safety, comfort, warmth, and love to each and every soldier today wherever he/she is. We pray for world peace, for unity among nations and individuals. We pray a soon return of Jesus Christ. As we approach the ‘holidays’ we pray our soldiers will feel the love coming to them from across the miles. We know some are coming home for Christmas “only in their dreams.” Open the eyes of the people in this nation to recognize our military for the heroes they are. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the IDF as well. We ask this in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen
