O Father God, we praise you as the Healer and Sustainer for those affected by the roadside bombing in Iraq. May courage and wisdom by faith from you covers the troops at Adhamiya and other parts of Iraq as the believers among them and all of your concerned prayer warriors intercedes for the safety of the defender of peace and the innocents on the ground for your glory and honor. With your Son Jesus’ Lordship and your Holy Spirit’s empowerment there is hope, deliverance, and healing of broken souls and lives in Adhamiya and other parts of Iraq for your name’s sake. Amen.

Cover their sins and give them the gift of repentance. Send them dreams and visions and empower them to do the miracles that Jesus did as well as preach and teach the good news of Your kingdom. Father, Protect the innocent people living in Adhamiya today. Keep them safe from all harm. Protect them from the enemy of their souls. Give them peace when they lie down, joy when they are with their family and friends, and a desire to know You. While protecting them, let the hunger and desire to know the truth and to be at peace drive them to look for You. Foil all attempts by the enemy to sidetrack them or deceive them. Father, bless Adhamiya today with a peace that passes understanding. Put a hold on all evil alliances in that city. Don’t let any plan go into action. Suspend all communications between evildoers. Bind them hand and foot. Let the engines fail, supplies fail to show up, and their wells run dry. Give them no peace when they try to rest. Don’t let them be nourished by what they eat. And give them a thirst that will not be satisfied. But let all the peacekeepers have a day of rest. Give them peace and joy and a feeling like they are sailing with the wind. Father, Protect the leaders in Adhamiya today. Protect their minds, their bodies, their souls. Protect their families and loved ones. Protect those who work for them and with them. Protect their work. Put up a hedge of protection around them that the enemy cannot penetrate. LORD, I wonder how many times I’ve prayed for cooperation and a strong union between the military and the police in Adhamiya. And I know that You hear my prayers so I will keep on praying. Thank You that You have called us to come boldly into Your presence with our prayers and petitions. Thank You that You are not a God who is far off, but one who dwells with us. Thank You that You have revealed Your compassion and love to us. And thank You that You are a holy God and cannot tolerate evil and sin. What a blessing to know that when we pray, our relationship becomes stronger and we will be more like You! Thank You for all You have done for Adhamiya. Bless that city today, LORD, and protect its citizens from harm. In Jesus’ name. Amen
