20-Protect the Children

Scripture: “May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor.” -Psalm 72:4

Prayer: Lord, You are the God of the innocent. You look upon those who are oppressed with great favor and compassion. Your heart is toward the humble, and those who are cast down.

child.jpgI bring before You the children of Baghdad, and I ask that You would protect them today. Dispatch Your angels to watch over them and keep them from harm. Decree from heaven that this day be the “Day of the Child” in Baghdad. A day when no mother has to pick up her lifeless child from the street, and no father is seen weeping with a body in his arms.

According to Your Word Lord, “vindicate the afflicted today, save the children, and crush all those who promote violence and terror.” Let Your light from heaven shine down on Baghdad, and drive back the darkness. In Jesus name, amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, I pray today for extraordinary wisdom for the commanders who are making the crucial decisions in this war, and for them to make those decisions with a humble and a righteous attitude. May Your help enable them to find out the enemy’s positions while ensuring the safety of the personnel under them. May victories won with Your help today bring the combatants many steps closer to the conclusion of this war and the establishment of stability. I pray these things for the sake of the children and the families of that land who are living in the midst of turmoil and conflict. May this conflict be brought to a conclusion soon so that these children might soon be able to live in security and peace. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Father we ask for protection for the children of Iraq today. May the kind acts of the peacekeepers turn their thoughts to do good deeds. Keep them from those who would teach hate instead of love. May they grow to want peace and to protect there country from the evil ones. Bind those who would seek to do harm to them and other innocent citizens. We pray for each one there today to be kept safe. Protect my adopted soldier LaVic R. Sharpe. Be with his family and may they be prayer warriors so that peace may come soon. We thank you Father for all the prayers that have been answered that we do not even know about today. Be with the ones who make important decisions to have clear thoughts to do the right things. We pray all this in your name Lord Jesus. Amen

You Who made them, know the vulnerability of their minds, their willingness to obey, their desire to be approved by those about them. Seal them with the spirit of discernment of right over evil and cause them to ‘see’ that choosing to do and be right brings good unto them and those they love. Surround them with those who bear witness to truth, deliver them from the evil.

Father I come before you sitting on your throne, and ask that you would fulfill your Word about the children and Your Love for them. Be their rock, fortress, and sviour; in whom they find protection as You wrote in Psalm 18:2. Father, God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob I pray that You will watch over the clildren all over the world, and stand beside them as their protective shade. Watch over them as they come and go, both now and forever.(Psalm 121:5&8).

Father in Isaiah 41:10 You say “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you”. Show them your Fatherly love I pray, strengthen them, help them, and uphold them in your victorious right hand. I pray that You will protect them always from the evil ones in Iraq and the Middle East. Lord, may today and forevermore be the “Day of the child”. You Father are compassionate toward the clildren, because they are our future and “Your future in the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ”. BLESS THEM FATHER I pray and may your will be done, your kingdom come, and all praise be given to you our Jehovah Nissi and Jehovah Shalom. Amen and Amen

I pray today for the children, grown now to manhood, of America that are our best, America’s finest and best, patroling the city as Soldiers for Christ in Bagdad, and other hot spots around the world. I pray for their protection, provision and salvation. They are the marching saints that opened the 1040 window for Christ. May they live and return home to America and their loved ones, UNHARMED. May they never be the same but better forever.
If any are called Home to Heaven today or tomorrow, let it be Your will LORD, for Your Glory, and let them be the Saintly Army that returns with You to do the last battle on earth that will end all wars and usher in the peace we are looking for. They will come back at that time to finish the work they started now. Amen

Children are a blessing and our hope of tomorrow as they are in unison with You. Dear Lord, I stand in agreement with the prayers offered up today for the children of Baghdad and all over the world.
