16-No Innocent Casualties

Scripture: “He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.” Psalm 72:13

Prayer: Lord, how awesome are Your deeds! There is no one who is mighty like You. You are Lord over all the nations of the earth. You have made the heavens, the earth, and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them. Let the whole earth be filled with Your glory.

innocent.jpgLord, I come with boldness before Your throne of grace and I lift up the innocent people of Baghdad who are caught up in this struggle for freedom. Let Your hand of compassion reach out over them today, and protect them from harm. According to Your word, “save the lives of the needy.”

I stand with Christ against all those who would target the innocent in Baghdad. And for the duration of this hour, on this day, I say “NO Innocent Casualties!” This hour is a NO CASUALTY hour! Let the angels of God be dispatched to protect the innocent; and may the compassion and protection of the Lord fall upon their shoulders like a cloak of safety. In Jesus mighty name, amen.

    Yes, Lord, have mercy on the children. Protect them from the spirit of fear and of hatred. Let these evils not take root in their hearts. Reveal yourself to these little ones in visions and dreams, allowing their hearts to be healed and free of all that would turn them away from the truth. Thank you that they are precious in your sight.

    M. Thompson Says:

    Dearest Lord! Thank You so much for the Saints who are engaging the enemy in Battle today. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty of God to the pulling down of strongholds, and every high thing that exalts itself above the Word of God.
    Lord, the Battle is won spiritually and that is why there is so much time and effort by the enemy to cause the righteous people to fall into sin.
    With pure hands and a clean heart we wage our Battle against these dark and deadly forces that have no pity even on that little boy in the picture. Jesus and our US Soldiers, and we too, LOVE that little boy.
    God hears the prayers of the righteous but sin separates us from the Lord. To stay in the game we need righteousness! So Lord, we know too that nothing surpases the Power of Your Word. You watch over it to perform it. Let us hold fast to God’s wonder working power of His Written Living Word! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen

    Loretta Says:

    Father, We command all eyes in Iraq to be opened, so we ask you to open every eye to truth and error. Let all things repugnant to You cease and desist quickly.
    Be it so in the authority of Jesus.

    Mary Says:

    Psalm 118

    1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

    2 Let Israel say:
    “His love endures forever.”

    3 Let the house of Aaron say:
    “His love endures forever.”

    4 Let those who fear the LORD say:
    “His love endures forever.”

    5 In my anguish I cried to the LORD,
    and he answered by setting me free.

    6 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
    What can man do to me?

    7 The LORD is with me; he is my helper.
    I will look in triumph on my enemies.

    8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
    than to trust in man.

    9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
    than to trust in princes.

    10 All the nations surrounded me,
    but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

    11 They surrounded me on every side,
    but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

    12 They swarmed around me like bees,
    but they died out as quickly as burning thorns;
    in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

    13 I was pushed back and about to fall,
    but the LORD helped me.

    14 The LORD is my strength and my song;
    he has become my salvation.

    15 Shouts of joy and victory
    resound in the tents of the righteous:
    “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!

    16 The LORD’s right hand is lifted high;
    the LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!”

    17 I will not die but live,
    and will proclaim what the LORD has done.

    18 The LORD has chastened me severely,
    but he has not given me over to death.

    19 Open for me the gates of righteousness;
    I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.

    20 This is the gate of the LORD
    through which the righteous may enter.

    21 I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
    you have become my salvation.

    22 The stone the builders rejected
    has become the capstone;

    23 the LORD has done this,
    and it is marvelous in our eyes.

    24 This is the day the LORD has made;
    let us rejoice and be glad in it.

    25 O LORD, save us;
    O LORD, grant us success.

    26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.
    From the house of the LORD we bless you. [a]

    27 The LORD is God,
    and he has made his light shine upon us.
    With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
    up [b] to the horns of the altar.

    28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks;
    you are my God, and I will exalt you.

    29 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

    Father, help us always to seek Your Will, Your Plan, and Your Timing. We pray with our whole heart, but we also seek what you would have us do. Faith without works is dead. We see changes in our country which make us very sad. Help us to follow Your guidance. Father, protect and guide our young men and women serving overseas to protect our nation. Order their steps that no harm shall befall them. Bring them home safe and sound and soon, O Lord. Help them to feel the love and appreciation we have for them. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for those all over the world who yearn for liberty and peace. We pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen

    Sharon W. Says:

    Lord, you are the answer for this world today. We bring before you the people of Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan. We ask your divine protection for them as they try to go about their daily lives with so much violence around them. We pray for the children that they can grow up with hope in a violent world. We ask you deliverance from harm for the soldiers today as they face another week and weekend in a foreign land. Bless them today with your presence and open their hearts so they will come to know you. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

    Betsy P. Says:

    Oh dear God, earth and heaven rejoice that You are our Creator, our King, and our God! For You are merciful and longsuffering, patient with us. May there be no innocent casualties today.

    And indeed, Lord, Your Word says that You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked. May even the wicked be spared so that they have an opportunity to receive Jesus as Savior. May those with hearts of stone be moved upon by Your Holy Spirit that they may receive hearts of flesh, be washed in the Blood of the Lamb, and become as innocent as newborn babes…whiter than snow before You.

    We proclaim Your goodness, because You ARE good, Lord! And we come in agreement with Your Word and with Your name, Jesus, the Lord our Savior. Amen.
