16-No Innocent Casualties

Scripture: “He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.” Psalm 72:13

Prayer: Lord, how awesome are Your deeds! There is no one who is mighty like You. You are Lord over all the nations of the earth. You have made the heavens, the earth, and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them. Let the whole earth be filled with Your glory.

innocent.jpgLord, I come with boldness before Your throne of grace and I lift up the innocent people of Baghdad who are caught up in this struggle for freedom. Let Your hand of compassion reach out over them today, and protect them from harm. According to Your word, “save the lives of the needy.”

I stand with Christ against all those who would target the innocent in Baghdad. And for the duration of this hour, on this day, I say “NO Innocent Casualties!” This hour is a NO CASUALTY hour! Let the angels of God be dispatched to protect the innocent; and may the compassion and protection of the Lord fall upon their shoulders like a cloak of safety. In Jesus mighty name, amen.

In accordance with PSALM 35:10 Please RESCUE THE WEAK AND HELPLESS ONE’S FROM THE ENEMY, and PROTECT THOSE who are poor and needy FROM THOSE WHO WANT TO ROB THEM OF THEIR BELONGINGS AND FREEDOM. Father in your Word in Psalm 72 you tell us that you will rescue the poor when they cry to you; and help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. Heavenly Father, I give you thanks and glory in advance for protecting the innocent ones in Iraq and the Middle East.

LORD, protect the innocent children and parents in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, and other parts of the Middles East. Let there Angels comfort them, protect them, and tell of your precious love. Father, God Almighty, You are the only one that can do the immposible, and I believe that You can stop the enemy today as You did for the Israelites. In JESUS’ name I declare that today and tonight there will be “NO CASUALITIES” and that the whole Middle East will have “freedom”. You reign on high in majestic glory and your LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL FOR ALL MANKIND. Thank you for hearing this small prayer, and for the answer you will bring for your glory and honor as living testimonies. Amen

    Joan Gintella Says:

Heavenly Father, I stand with you and the people on this post and oppose and reject the evils who have hatred for all human life and do not want piece for this region. Put angels of protection around the peacekeepers and the innocent in Iraq – let their feet not strike a stone, may their hearts be full of confidence, strength and hope. Give them courage Lord to handle every thing that they go through on a daily basis. We are so blessed in this United States to have people who are willing to go fight abroad for freedom of others and also fighting to keep our country safe from evils who wish to destroy us. We pray for the salvation of those who do not know you, whether it be an Iraqi citizen or a U. S. soldier or a soldier with our allied forces. We pray for no one to go into battle without knowing you as their Lord and Saviour. In Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen.

    Dear Lord:
Today we celebrate your entering Jerusalem as the Messiah the first time, riding meek and humble on a donkey.
Next time, in the midst of war, you will enter Jerusalem as a Lion and a King of all Kings and sit upon a White Horse. You will destroy the evil men with the Brightness of Your Coming.

Our eyes shall see this and You will usher in a kingdom of peace, real peace. Prince of Peace, come soon.
Now the innocent people look to you for help in their helplessness, and You G-d, so mighty and strong, will be their benefactor and avenger.

The righteous shall be see this and trust in Him and all the upright will be glad. Praise awaits Your Oh Lord in Zion….and Iraq.
Answer us, our Hope in all the earth, Jesus, let this prayer please you. Amen

    Sherrill Says:

Father, we know the American public may not be focused on our fighting men and women, but we take confidence in the fact that You are focused on them. You do not forget the honorable and brave patriots who allow us to live our safe and secure lives. And there are those of us also who do not forget and pray fervent and faithfilled prayers for their safety and security as well. Open the eyes of the blind and self-assured whose faith is only in themselves. Let those who love God and this country, speak up and do the right thing. We pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

May no harm come to the innocent of that land, dear Lord, and may those who would bring harm be quickly found out disarmed, and made powerless of doing wrong. Lynn Says:

Father God, thank You for all that You do – thank You for all that You do that we don’t either know about or realize. My son is home on leave from Iraq, and several hours after he flew out of Atlanta, a tornado went through the city. I immediately thought of Your hand upon him that made the connections so he would arrive and leave before the storm – for his safety and also as not to delay his leave time. How many more times have You saved him and all of our other soldiers without us even knowing! Especially today, on this Palm Sunday, i want to praise and worship You – not because of what You do, but just because You are the God You are. Continue to bless and protect each of our brave soldiers, give them wisdom and guidance as they go through their days and nights. Continue to surround them with Your angels as protection, routing any arrows that come their way. Safeguard the innocent people of Iraq and Afghanistan that long for peace and freedom in their countries, especially for the children. NO BLOOD BE SHED in this hour, and on this day, please we ask LORD God, our Father. Bless us as the BPP, call many others to join us in this fight for the things of You. It is in Jesus name i pray. Amen and Amen.

    Dottie Says:

Dear Father I pray tonight for the innocent children and teens who are caught up in this conflict. Oh Father that you would make our troops good examples for these young people. You rule and reign over all the earth and we put all of our trust in you. Do not allow any blood shed on this day. We hear of good reports coming out of Iraq and we thank you for answered prayers especially by this Prayer Patrol. Hear our cries to you Lord and bring an end to the hostility that seem to continue by some there. May these people learn to agree to disagree peacefully. May they solve their problems at a town meeting instead of on the battle field. We long for our troops to be able to come home soon. We pray all this in your precious name Lord Jesus. Amen

    Lynn Says:

Dear Jesus, lover of our souls, lover of the needy. Your Word has promised us that You will have compassion on the poor and needy. Before i ask in prayer, i must first come to You with a contrite heart and ask forgiveness for my own transgressions against You….when i have been angry instead of forgiving, when i have been neglectful instead of giving, when i have been lazy instead of praying. It is only through the blood of Your Precious Son that i can count myself forgiven, and come to you clean and worthy to be heard by You. For that, Father, i will forever be grateful to You. For that, Father, i will surrender my life to You. Thank You for bringing me to this computer right now, as a commited member of the BPP, to give all we have to You in prayer for those that are the innocents in this situation, for those that are our military service men and women. The picture with today’s prayer says so much with no words. The child looking on…the soldier ready to protect and defend. This is my prayer – that You would supply all that is needed to each of these groups of people, LORD, to keep them safe, to return them to safe houses at the end of each day. And to return our soldiers safely to their homes at the end of their tours of duty. It is with faith and hope i ask You, Father, these things, knowing You hear, and knowing You will answer. Amen and Amen.

    Jean Says:

Dear Wonderful Father in Heaven, how wise You are and how great and awesome are Your ways. Dear Father, in my heart I agree with today’s prayer prompt. I, too, ask that Your glory be known in all the earth. I, too, humbly ask for the safety of the poor, helpless and needy ones of Iraq. Dear Father, if anyone thinks to bring harm to such ones for the sake of some supposed gain or advantage may they be stopped in their tracks and find themselves simply unable to carry out their wicked intentions. May the little ones, the hurting ones and the needy find safety and help in the shadow of Your wings, dear Lord, and may it be known in all the earth that there is a God Who cares for the needy and is willing to stand in the gap on their behalf. I pray, too, that You will protect such ones from being unintentionally caught in crossfire of any sort. Dear Father, please also bless and help families who have lost loved ones in this conflict or whose members have been frightened, injured or traumatized because of the violence they have experienced. May such ones find the help and healing they need to be whole in body, mind and spirit. Heavenly Father, in praying these things I am confident that they are true to Your will and purposes as You have revealed them to us. In Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.
