12-Escapes from Death

Scripture: “God is to us a God of deliverances; And to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death.” -Psalm 68:20

Prayer: Lord, all power belongs to You. You rule and reign, unchallenged in the heavens. You are far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given.

troops.jpgWe claim Your word that, “to God the Lord belongs escapes from death.” We ask that You would deliver from danger and from the jaws of death the soldiers and police serving in Baghdad. You are the God of the impossible, and we ask that You would release impossible escapes for these brave men and women today.

We thank you that You will hinder weapons aimed at the peacemakers, and prevent the detonation of bombs designed to spread terror. You are the One who breaks “the bow and cuts the spear in two.” We believe that many will be caught away from the grip of death today, and will walk before You in the light of the living. In Jesus Name. Amen.”

Yes Lord, we come in agreement with our brothers and sisters in Christ that you render useless all bombs, bullets and any other evil means that would harm, maime, injure and kill our soldiers and innocent civilians. Put your warring angels with each of them, put an unbrella of protection over then and a hedge of protection around them. In Jesus name, Amen and Amen

Father, We thank You and praise You for last month without any casualties in Iraq. We command total protection from this day forward. We speak total deliverance from harm for our troops and for all honest citizens of Iraq. We claim victory over terrorism and victory over radical Islamic practices and abuses. We demand total victory and command open eyes, uncluttered minds, honorable behavior and decisions of integrity for all actions concerning Iraq and Afganistan and America. We command that God’s will is done in all nations of the world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    Jan Says:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for all your blessings
and the encouragement you give us. Forgive any sins known or unknown, lift us up that we may walk in your light and be a light unto others.
    We pray for ADHAMIYA,
we pray that you intervene and send forth Angels to do miracles and warfare, to protect our Troops from danger and injury, and cause the people to seek truth, and open their hearts to support our Troops and seek peace. Be with our Troops today as they strive to
further democracy and hope for your people there.
We pray the truth of Jesus would become known and
many will believe. Bless each one of our military
and keep them from harm, send the Holy Spirit to each of them, giving them discernment and wisdom, always guiding them away from evil or danger, that your word promises Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the Lord and their
righteousness is of me saith the Lord.
    Luke 18:27
The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
May the love of Jesus and his hand be on each one
of our men and women in Jesus Name. Amen

    Jon Henry Says:

Heavenly Father, Almighty and Merciful God of the universe, blessed is Your holy name above all names. I give You and Your Son Jesus Christ all praise and glory for the sacred gift of this day and the bounty of blessings that You have filled it with. Thank You Lord, for Your unconditional love and Your limitless grace and mercy that sustain us all. Thank You for the privilege of coming to You with my prayers with the assurance that You hear and will answer my petitions. I come before Your throne in faith and believing in Your infinite power and wisdom to ask a blessing on the brave men and women in uniform in Adhamiya as they patrol the streets and neighborhoods of Baghdad, keeping peace and trying to expose the agents of the evil one to Your righteous light. You are our Fortress, our Rock of Refuge, the Tower of our Salvation, our Mighty Shield against the enemy and our Helper in times of peril and times of peace.

Father God, be with these fine young people who are risking all they have or ever will have to help defend the Iraqi people from those who would destroy, maim and kill. Send Your heavenly angels to bind all their adversaries and prevent the minions of the evil one from inflicting any harm on anyone other than themselves. Neutralize all the ammunition of the insurgents so that they fall harmlessly to the ground without injuring anyone. Supernaturally confuse the efforts of the radical oppositions so as to deny them the success of their plans. Plague the leaders of the extremists with visions and dreams of conviction of their wrong beliefs and actions, so much so that they will be filled with sorrow and regret for all they have done and be led to repentance. I claim the promise of Jesus that whatever we ask of You in His name, it shall be done for us according to the fullness of Your grace and Your perfect will and purpose for all our lives. All these things I pray in the most precious holy name of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen and amen and amen.

    Sharon W. Says:

Lord, words are not sufficient to say thank you to you for all you have given us. We thank you for the victories that we see happening before our very eyes in Iraq and we once again lift up the people of this country to you. They are lost in darkness and have no way of escape unless you intervene. They need the presence of the Holy Spirit to begin working in their hearts and minds to bring about salvation. Let the soldiers who are Christians find someone today to tell about Jesus. In His name I pray.

  9. 392
    Sherrill Says:

Father, continue to protect and send angels with miracles to our fighting men and women. We also pray for the families of those soldiers who will not be returning home. Father, if it is possible, let them know that Jesus sticks closer than a brother, that God has a special place in His heart for widows and orphans, that He too lost His Son in the service of others. The devil seeks only to steal, kill and destroy. Overcome him, Lord, and bring our troops home safely and soon. We ask it in Jesus’ Name, Amen

  10. 391
    Granmom Says:

I pray in Jesus’ Name that You would send your mighty angels into Iraq to protect our military men & women serving to help the Iraqis bring peace to their country. Change the minds of the suicide bombers that this is a fanatical way to kill their own people living there & as they try to eliminate our troops. Bind the evil one & prevent him from any more death & destruction in Baghdad & surrounding cities, in the mighty name & power of Jesus Christ, ruler of the universe.
In His name I pray & expect to see the Iraqi leaders wanting PEACE & not violence in their country.

    Jackie Says:

Oh yes Lord, protect our troops give them escapes from death. We pray that what you did to Pharaoh’s army in pursuing the Israelites in Exodus 14 You would do for our troops. Throw the enemy into confusion. Make the wheels come off of their vehicles meant for suicide bombings. Let the enemy flee in fear and say “Let’s get away from these American and Iraqi soldiers! The LORD is fighting for them against us.” Lord I also pray a special plea of help upon the Apache Troop in Afghanistan. They are being fired upon daily. The conditions in this remote post are so dangerous and primitive. Protect these men mentally and well as physically. Send your mighty angels into that area to do battle and give victory to these brave men. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

    Luanne Says:

Yes, Lord, You are our Deliverer! You, and you alone can deliver from death. Lord, we ask for the precious blood of Jesus to be applied to the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people, The Afghani people, the American troops, and the Coalition Forces. We pray, that where the blood of Jesus is, the spirit of death must pass over. Lord, we come in agreement and declare — “No weapon formed against you shall prosper. And every word of judgment, you shall condemn.” Lord, we ask that you would come to Baghdad. Lord, we ask that you would establish your kingdom there and that you would rule and reign over this territory. Lord, we pray that you would not allow any other ruling spirit to prosper. We ask that as you reign over Baghdad and over Kabul that every demon from the pit of hell would flee before your coming. We pray that the earth would tremble and shake at your coming. We look for you, Lord Jesus. Come. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

And, Lord, we also pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May you break every evil plan against your city. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

They need you in their lives and hearts as they go into battle. I pray for that Lord, with all my heart. In Jesus name, Amen

Our Dear Lord, We ask again for the protection of the our soldiers stationed in Iraq and for the police and military men of Iraq who are protecting their country from those who want to destroy it. Keep them safe from all harm and their families also. Expose the plans of destruction—stop them in their tracks and may they fall into their own pit.

    Heavenly Father,

You have an appointed time of death for each person and I pray that within Your will You would keep all of the troops and police from having any appointments with death this day. Please keep them all safe from any harm and deliver them from the jaws of death at any point when those jaws are ready to chomp down. Please give spiritual life alongside extended physical life. May the lives saved be fully dedicated to You for glorifying You and bringing honor to You. Lives are in Your hands, Lord, at Your disposal. No one has life without Your effort to make it happen. Thank You for all the life on earth at this moment and may any that is not pleasing and glorifying to You be set on track for Your good purposes. Please let peacefulness be the atomosphere in Baghdad and Iraq today. Through Jesus, Amen

    M. Thompson Says:

    Dear Lord:
Thank you so much for an opportunity to agree with the Saints around the globe for our precious Soldiers in Iraq. We love them so much and this is such a God-given privelege to be able to reach around the globe and touch them with our prayers.

Lord, we know that our US Soldiers are the object of your intense care and concern.
Everything that concerns them, their families, their finances, their health and safety, their food and rest and peace of mind.
Please gather these particular conditions in the palm of your right Hand, and hold them tight in your care.
Protect, provide and give peace and rest from worry. For your Eye is on the sparrow. So I know you’re watching them.
Dispel dark thoughts of discouragement and replace these emotions with your peace that passes all understanding. Surround each Soldier with your Holy Angels to minister to their every need. Give faith in abundance.

Thank you Lord for Your Son Jesus, 2nd Person of the Holy Trinity, who never leaves their side.
In Jesus Name I pray. Amen
