8-Favor for the Police and the Troops

Scripture: “And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us…” -Psalm 90:17

Prayer: Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and a God who cares. You hung all the stars in the sky and not one of them is missing. You know when we sit down and when we stand up, and nothing escapes Your notice.

soldier-helps-child.jpgJesus, we ask for Your help in granting our soldiers favor with the Iraqi people. Where there have been offenses, we ask for things to be repaired, and for trust to be restored and even increased. We ask that good deeds would not go unnoticed, and that those who are the recipients will tell many others the story of the goodness that was shown to them.

Lord, let the bonds of trust and partnership increase through favor with the Iraqi people. We ask for an atmosphere of goodwill to come down and favor that promotes partnership for a free Iraq. We ask for Your divine help, in Jesus name. Amen.

All glory and honor and praise be to You, Most High and loving Lord Jesus!! Lord, I ask that Your hand would be upon this nation. I pray that You would expose all the goodness and truth and that any lies be exposed. Lord, I pray that all evil be exposed as well. I pray for Your believers there that Your loving hand would be upon them as they go out to share Your truth. Please help them to pray for Your Holy Spirit to guide and direct them and give them the words You desire to be heard. I pray that many will come to You for salvation and for Your glorious love and truth. I pray this for Your glory alone, dear Jesus. Amen.

Father, don’t let all that our soldiers accomplished in Iraq go for naught. Let Iraqis step up and protect those rights and areas that have been set free. And give those in power wisdom and discernment to rightly govern the people. Thank You, Father, that You have a plan for that nation. Be glorified, LORD, for what You are doing and what You have done. Amen

Dear Father God, I bow before Your throne with thankfulness and praise for all that You are and all that You do! I love You! I ask that You would speak for our troops all around the world and make sure that all the good that they’ve done is known to all! I pray that trust and respect would grow. I also ask that You would speak to the troops about being honest, hopeful, caring, humble and faithful and they go about their work. I pray they would receive all the equipment they need as well as healthy food. Please bless their families in the ways they need and keep them close to You. I ask these things in Your loving Son’s name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord Father God, please help our soldiers as they are leaving Baghdad, Karrada, and all Iraq. Help the police and Iraqi military as the US troops withdraw. May Your Word in Psalm 91 apply to all believers. And, because You love everyone, may You shelter the unbelieving people of Iraq under Your wings as well. Reveal Your great love to them in this holiday season. May multiplied millions of souls come into Your Kingdom before 2012 in Iraq. Be exalted above every false god of the season. We love You and give You honor, Lord Jesus, as we pray in Your name, amen.

Father, even though the American troops will be leaving Baghdad soon, that doesn’t mean that the war is over. There is still a very real threat from the enemy who only wants chaos and destruction. I’m asking today that You give strength and resolve to those in Iraqi government who are honest and are working for the peace and well being of their country. Encourage them to work together and to think of each other in kind terms. Give them wisdom when dealing with destructive forces. And protect them and their families. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Our request is that You will help the people of Iraq to realize that our troops are there to assist them in becoming an independant Nation and people again. There are people with anger and hatred in their hearts toward America and our troops that are in their country to assist them in this cause. We realize there are some there that do appreciate having the troops, but there are others that endeavor to injure and kill our them. It is our prayer that in Your own way that You can put a different feeling in these people’s hearts. You are a God of miracles; The Great I AM; the One who spoke this World into existance, that is why we are making these reguests. Mary T. Says:

Dear LORD: Thank you for the hearts of our US Soldiers to show compassion to a people that have lived in darkness for so long. They never read a Bible and they don’t know Jesus….but for the US Soldiers and their ways…and their commitment and sacrifice….they are seeing Jesus in our US Soldier’s eyes, hands and combat boots.
Please send favor down from Heaven like a blanket upon the Iraqi region towards our US SOldiers. Soften their hearts towards our men and women in uniform to the extent that they are always looking for an opportunity to extend their version of Southern hospitality on our Soldiers instead of trying to hurt them. Let the locals be grateful for what peace and order has come…and give them a desire to know our US Soldiers’ JESUS CHRIST. And then give our US Soldiers the boldness to witness. Thank you LORD, for your mercy,c ompassion and love. In Jesus Name we pray, amen.

    Dear Father,

I confess that I have been remiss in praying on these Prayer Central sites specifically. We have prayed, but not taken the time to type in our prayers. We have become a bit complacent and we’ve lost the edge we had when Wayne started these sites. So please forgive me, Father, and come, intervene in these nations, particularly Iraq–for this site. This nation has been in such confusion for so long, Lord. Please intervene. Please bring your truth to these people and give them godly government that cannot be bought off or threatened or coerced, or manipulated by that godless religion of islam. Please give the people a love for Jesus, and a desire to take responsibility for their government. Bless their police force and their troops if they are truly trying to establish a godly peace. If not, please remove them. And please remove all the terrorist influences coming from the religious leaders. Please protect our troops and bring them home safely and victoriously. Thank you that you never slumber nor sleep, and you are in total control. We give you praise and honor and glory in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

  25. 645
    Donna Says:

Father, as the Iraqis pick up more of the responsibility and duties for keeping their country safe and healthy, bless those who walk uprightly and do what is honorable. Give them courage to keep on working for the good of all and give them dominion over their areas of responsibility. Keep them and their families safe. And give them wisdom and discernment for all their decisions. Amen
