8-Favor for the Police and the Troops

Scripture: “And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us…” -Psalm 90:17

Prayer: Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and a God who cares. You hung all the stars in the sky and not one of them is missing. You know when we sit down and when we stand up, and nothing escapes Your notice.

soldier-helps-child.jpgJesus, we ask for Your help in granting our soldiers favor with the Iraqi people. Where there have been offenses, we ask for things to be repaired, and for trust to be restored and even increased. We ask that good deeds would not go unnoticed, and that those who are the recipients will tell many others the story of the goodness that was shown to them.

Lord, let the bonds of trust and partnership increase through favor with the Iraqi people. We ask for an atmosphere of goodwill to come down and favor that promotes partnership for a free Iraq. We ask for Your divine help, in Jesus name. Amen.

    Heavenly Father,

The troops and police who serve in Iraq place their very lives on the line to do their duty. I ask that You would please let it be recognized by the Iraqi people what sacrifice is made to ensure the safety of those who reside in Iraq. Please let there be much goodwill experienced between the troops and police and the people. There are some moments when good deeds are performed simply out of the goodness of the hearts of the troops and police. Please reward the troops and police with Your special recognition that will be meaningful to them. Please let no good deed go unrewarded. Thank You God for what You mean to all the people and I know You are so often taken for granted. May the people remember to give thanks to You, too. Through Jesus, Amen

Merciful Heavenly Father, may Your Name be honored and blessed forever! Heavenly Father, I thank you for the troops who are serving others in a land not their own. I pray that You will bless and help them and keep them from harm. Be with them in times of need and help them to be able to unburden their hearts at the end of the day after seeing many difficult and troubling things. I pray that in the course of all this they will have extraordinary insight to discern between the innocent and those who would stir up trouble, and find the inner strength they need to minister kindness and help to those they have come to protect. Let us also be mindful and supportive of their needs as they undertake these things. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

    M. Thompson Says:

    Dear Lord:
We have this assurance, that because all men are made in Your Image, that whatsoever we do unto the least of the brethren that we do it for You.

Such a family act, such a sweet act, such a loving and caring act, a fatherly act, to tie the shoe of a little boy.
No one sees, but this young man may be inwardly crying because at home his little boy, the same age, may need his shoe laces tied and he is not there to do it.

Because God sees all and rewards us all according to our deeds as the Bible exactly puts it….someone WILL tie his little boy’s shoe lace. The law of reciprocity, the universal law of sowing and reaping.
Jesus said that we reap what we sow.
We must ask ourselves daily what we too are sowing.
God Bless this wonderful young man. May he return home to his son someday. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen

I ask for Your divine help, Lord I ask for miracles to rise up all around Iraq. Where there is poverty, misery, death, tradgedy, lord bring HELP. Supply all there needs, food, water, comfort, medical help. May the help come from our own troops. Lord as they go into these places, place huge guards about them, so NO HARM COMES NEAR THEM! Lord give them FAVOR as Your word says, Mercy will beon there wings.

Lord I call for MIRACLES to ring out and they will be declared! As You instructed Joshua to have His people circle the walls of that city,7 times, and the walls came down, pushed into the ground so all the army had to do was walk in and take the city. Lord our prayers are circling the city of Baghdad. Take down it’s walls Lord. Miracles Lord..what you have done in the past, You will do for us! In The Mighty Name of JESUS!!

Father, Gracious God, I come today in humbliness and thank you for YOUR GRACE AND MERCY continually. Thank You Lord for your love and understanding of mankind. You are our King and Lord Almighty. To the Iraqis and Afghanis I say “Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Remember to wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart. THEN you will FIND FAVOR with both God and people, and you will gain a good reputation”.(Prov. 3:3-4)

Father GRANT THIS TO THE PEOPLE IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN. Holy Spirit you are the closest to the heart of God thus, I ask would you place the WORD of God in their hearts. Let your blessing an favor be upon our soldiers, Iraqis and Afghanis for the good deeds they are doing. May they not go unnotiiced Lord amongst the people in these countries. Pour forth YOUR LOVE, AND YOUR FAVOR LIKE REFRESHING RAIN upon these countries. may your favor be like refeshing rain for those in Isreal during and after their fighting. Luanne Says:

Lord, I pray for your continued blessing on our troops and on their relationships with the Iraqi Police. I pray that you would root out any false peacemakers — I pray that the peacebreakers would be broken and they would see the good will and good works of the American soldiers — that they would glorify their Father which is in heaven. Lord, we ask that you would plant seeds of peace, water them, and give the increase in this territory for generations to come. Please protect our soliders as they hand out treats and gifts to the children and people of Iraq. I ask that you would also crush the spirit of greed and replace it with a spirit of good will. Make the words of the American’s and Iraqi’s sure — may they not go back on their promises.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Father, What a lovely picture of tenderness between this young boy and soldier. I pray for Your tenderness to touch all the troops as they are surrounded by harsh conditions. Such a small act of tenderness can be a bountiful blessing when realized it is a gift from You. Thank you for the relationship of love we have in Jesus Christ. May those that are His, shine forth and attract others into Your kingdom. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Bring down the fire, the wind and the rain. Take the hearts of stone and turn them to hearts of flesh in Jesus Name. Lord only you can change a heart. Only you can heal the wounded and set the captives free. I pray you shed your Great Light into the hearts of all the people of Iraq and all nations. Shine YOUR LIGHT into their dark places. Let their Hope be in YOU, Lord. Hear our prayers Lord and heal the land in Jesus Name.
    Thank you, Lord.

    Loretta Worthy Says:

Father, We lift up the troops and the police in Iraq and we pray Your favor over them and declare Your favor for them with all mankind. The favor of God profusely abounds in the lives of the troops and the police. They experience supernatural increase, promoion, honor, victory, recognition, prominence and preferential treatment. Policies and rules are changed on their behalf and battles are won that they do not have to fight. God’s favor is on them, goes before them and is their rear guard. This is the year of God’s favor in their lives. We declare it is so in the authority if Jesus.

    Sharon W. Says:

Father, we praise and honor you for the good news that is coming from Iraq and we ask your guidance and blessing on the troops who still remain in danger every day. We ask that the leaders who have been designated to put the new government into place be strong and assertive in favor of democracy. Most of all we ask that you tear down the strongholds of false belief and lies that hold the people in bondage and darkness. Grant them eyes to see and ears to hear and a voice to speak out against the sins of the fathers. I ask in the name of Jesus.

Lord, I ask you for Divine Intervention and Favors for our military.

Just like You guided King David to Victory, Lord, do the same for our Troops.

Just like You provided the “Hands” to lift Moses up, Lord I ask that You liteally provide support for our brave Troops and the Baghdad police force.

Just as You Lord caused David and Jonathan to be Kinderd Spirits; Lord I ask that our Troops and The Iraqui police spirit be united together, in the Lord.

Thank You Lord that we as believers call those things that are not (yet) as though they were; a complete trust between our military and the Iraqui police. Protect all the innocent people in Baghdad today!

Bless both our Military and Civillians in Baghdad this day, in Jesus name,

Father God, we ask for your favor and shield to be with and surround each one of our soldiers. As time passes and they are away from home, and one their second, third, fourth tours in stressful situations, Lord, lighten their hearts and give them encouragement and hope. Help them to be lights for You and lights for the peace and freedom they represent. Protect them against all evil – the ever-present threats of danger and IED’s, and even things like fear and depression. May Your love lift them up! May they know and understand of prayers being said for them around the world! It is with thanksgiving and praise I come before You with these requests, Father, in Jesus most precious name.
