6-Protect the Innocent Civilians

Scripture: “Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” -Psalm 82:4

Prayer: Lord, Your name is high above every name that has ever been named. You are exalted high above every created thing, and You rule the universe from Your throne on High.

baghdad_children.jpgYou are a Father to the fatherless, and You watch over the poor and needy. Lord, we ask that You would hear the cries of the people of Baghdad and deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Protect them during this time of uncertainty and rebuilding.

Surround them with Your favor as a shield and keep them safe. Give our troops great compassion and vigilance to keep the families of Baghdad from harm.

Lord, Your heart is near to the widow and the orphan; hear the cries of the oppressed and come to their aid. Break the yoke of violence that rules in that city, and set the people free from fear. Judge the wicked for oppressing the innocent, and deliver the weak out of their hands. In Jesus name, Amen.

Aman and Amen! Protect the children Father. Send your warring angels to surround them. May peace and security come soon to this land. Give wisdom to our President Bush and to those in charge in Iraq both military and civilian. May there be a mighty move of your Holy Spirit on the people of Iraq Lord. Comfort all who mourn there and in our country also. We proclaim PEACE over this land.

We consecrate the troops, allies, police, and citizens of Baghdad, Iraq, and all “hot spots” for the use of God Almighty. Lord, bring the people and lands back to Your original plan, a plan to give all of them a future and a hope in your precious Son, Jesus. We pray and claim Jeremiah 29:11 for the troops, allies, police, and citizens of the region and the families of all serving over there– all that is consecrated and set aside for Your Glory, Lord, let the beauty of Your presence blind the enemy.

    Father God:
I send this prayer today, to our brothers and sisters of every race, color, creed and religion Lord: Father God, if in fact we all read in the word inspired by you Lord, Ezekiel, I pray peace, understanding and love among all of the peoples, mixed together during this tragedy of WAR. Father I pray that you reach your hand out over the children and remove their fear, and that Father that our 2 Governments will hurry and find a solution, that the anger of the bombers may stop and the region can see peace. Bring Right standing people to power Father, for the children may not cry any longer Lord. Blessed be those who have carried their faith over there with them God, and may they spread it far, I and many surely pray for an ending, In Jesus Name Amen

Rise up! Rise up, O Lord. We trust in Your faithfulness to acomplish Your will and purposes in Baghdad and throughout Iraq. We speak redemption from the evil one for this land. For too long Satan has had freedom to run to and fro over Iraq and her people. Now is the time, O Lord, to rise up and set Iraqi people free from the bondage of Satan. Let the people rejoice! Let all the people rejoice! Let us see the entirety of Iraq rejoice in the Name of Jehovah, the Supreme ruler of the Universe. The Lord our God is One God…the Great I AM! Thank You Jesus!

why can’t we have a prayer army in the same way, every day for the political situations in America?

I’d sign up and pray just like I have for Iraq.

    Dawn Phua Says:

    Gracious and Merciful God,

Protect the lives of innocent civilians in Baghdad from being wounded, killed or destroyed.Protect their homes and neighbourhoods as well. Let them receive life, and life more abundantly instead. Answer them and touch their lives in a supernatural way when they cry out for help. Bring an end to their suffering. Let mourning turn into dancing when they encounter You personally. Bring salvation, love, hope, peace, faith, comfort, healing and joy into their lives. May Your favour and protection be upon the troops and police patrol and all their families. Bless them with boldness, good standing and repute, integrity, good health, resoluteness in character and purpose. Let Your Love knit the hearts of each family together. We trust in Your unfailing love and sovereignty. You, Lord God rule and reign throughout eternity. Let Your Rule and Reign be established over Baghdad. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    Theresa Says:

DT 11:22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow–to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him– [23] then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. [24] Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the western sea. [25] No man will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

“Lord, as the soldiers who know You and love You and serve You walk the land, may You grant that Your Word be fulfilled. As they protect the lives of the innocent and weak, may you honour them in every way. Amen.”
