7-Agreeing With Believers in Iraq

Scripture: “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

church.jpgPrayer: Dear Lord we thank you for your promise that where two or more are gathered in your name that you are there, and that you will answer the request that is being agreed upon. You are a promise keeping God, and you keep your word and manifest your faithfulness each and every day.

Right now we want to stand with our brothers and sisters in Iraq, and we want to ask for a wave of divine help as they begin to rebuild their nation. Extend your favor in a special way over your children, as they step forward to see your Presence and blessing be sown into the foundation stone.

Give them courage, to go and do and say; give them peace to wait and trust and persevere; give them strength and vision to bring about the patterns, plans and purposes of your heart in their land.

Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq in Jesus name. amen.

Father, You see and know all in Baghdad, Haifa section, and all of Iraq who are Your chosen people. It’s a dangerous nation for a believer to live in these days. Much persecution is being focused on Christians there. But, Father, Lord Jesus said that those who persecute Your people are persecuting Him. And He has a plan to avenge His own. Thank You that You have not left or forsaken our siblings in Iraq. You are there with them protecting, covering, providing for, and blessing those who have had the courage and strength to stay and be Light in the darkness, and Salt for the world. Preserve them, I pray in the name of Jesus Who told us that we are blessed when we are persecuted and we should jump for joy! Help our siblings to do that, Lord! Amen.

Lord, You are faithful always! Thank You for allowing us to pray to You and then answering our prayers. Thank You for Who You are…Lover of our souls! May we love You deeply in return. I praise You for Your mercy and grace. I pray for Your love and mercy to be upon the people of Baghdad, especially Your believers there. Please guard them in all their ways. Please help them to stay true to You, Father. I pray that they would seek You and Your truth always. Lord, please help them to stand firm with You and to rebuke the evil one in Your name, Jesus! May they call upon Your Holy Spirit for power and strength and wisdom. Help them to love their enemies and to call upon You for that as well. Lord, thank You for all You have done for us! May we focus on the Cross, and simply die to self today and each day. For Your eternal glory. Amen.

Father God In the Name Of Jesus,
I lift up in prayer the Nation of Iraq that you would heal and protect and let your purpose and plan come forth for Iraq. That the plans of the wicked will not come forth but will come to total confusion and void. Spirit Of Righteousness will arise against the spirt of lawlessness a Spirit of Caurage for the Good and Favor of the nation will come forth for the People not against the people and let them arise to their proper place of being a nation that will honor the Gospel Of Jesus Christ.

Lord Father God, thank You that You have called souls out of the world in the land of Iraq. We ask You to keep revealing Your Son as Savior by the power of the Holy Spirit. Please bless and keep our siblings in Christ who live in Baghdad, Sadr City, and all Iraq. Grant them an awareness of Your divine presence at all times. Flood them and fill them with Your Holy Spirit continuously and repeatedly, I pray. Grant them stamina for the days ahead. And give them confidence of their eternal home with Lord Jesus, in Whose name we pray, amen.

Dear Lord: Thank you for what you have done in Iraq. It is changed forever and that for good. Why? Because you sent the US SOldiers there and they left their work and mark and Christian prayers and faith and now they are coming Home where they belong. Thank you for bringing them home Lord. Make it a safe trip please. We have long prayed for this day. Praise you Lord for protecting them and the Iraqi Christians that still live there. Please be a shield and buckler to them and tell them whether to leave or to stay. Your will be done. Thank You Lord for hearing our prayer today through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, As US troops are preparing to leave Iraq at the end of the year we especially pray for your guidance and wisdom for those that will rule and protect Iraq. That they will call upon your wisdom to make decisions for all citizens and not just in the interests of their family and friends. Let the Sunnis and Shiites know of the example of Peter and Paul with the Jews and Gentiles that they may see their commonalities in serving one God and not their differences. This I ask through Christ our Lord.

Father, thank You for allowing us to come into Your Holy Presence, though we are frail, faulted, and flawed. You see us through the Blood of Your Son, and you accept us as we are. Whew! What a relief is that!
Baghdad is one of the most difficult places in the world to live as a Christian. We honor our siblings in Christ who are called to be there shining the light of Jesus to others. Bless them this day with a sense of Your presence with them. Cause them to see Your face, hear Your voice, smell Your fragrance, taste Your goodness, touch the hem of Your garment, and know the peace of God that passes all understanding. Bless them with fruit for their labor and great heavenly rewards. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Savior, Who wants them to be with Him and to see His glory, amen.

    nanci Says:

The Bible says that INTEGRITY is one of the most powerful character traits You could posess. Please give the people of Baghdad Integrity and Faith to carry on. As soon as a man realizes that he is unafraid–Things begin to Happen. This is concrete evidence of Faith. Please give the people of Baghdad the “tools” to carry on and rebuild their City. Also, my prayers go to the wonderful Peacekeepers that are there to help the people. Please let them recognize their help. God bless each and everyone living in these terrible conditions. Take care of them Lord..I beg you. In your name we ask it. Amen.

  21. 754
    Betsy P. Says:

Father, Omniscient God, You know better than I do that Iraq is an extremely difficult place for a Christian to live. Please cover the believers there in Baghdad, Mansur, and all Iraq with Your feathers and cause them to trust under Your wings. Guide them as to whether they are to stay in Iraq or to go to somewhere more favorable for them. In the book of Acts, You sometimes told Your servants to stay in a place, and You sometimes told them to go. Please grant this leading to Your people in Iraq today, whether they be citizens or soldiers. Be glorified there for the land and the people are YOURS! In Jesus name I ask, amen.

  22. 753
    luann beasley Says:

Father, thank You for the believers in Iraq. Thank You for Your encouragement and comfort so that they are growing stronger in You every day. Thank You for their witness to all their neighbors and family members. Thank You that they are loving and kind and show Your love to everyone. Bless them today, LORD, and give them more joy and peace than they have previously known. In Jesus’ name. Amen

  25. 750
    Betsy P. Says:

For this cause, I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ of Whom the whole family in Heaven and Earth is named, that He might grant the believers in Baghdad and all Iraq(whether civilians or soldiers) to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith; that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the depth and height and length and breadth, and to know the love of Christ which passes all understanding; to be filled with all the fullness of God. And as Your Word continues to say, in Ephesians 3:14-21, “Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (the believers),unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, amen.”
