7-Agreeing With Believers in Iraq

Scripture: “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

church.jpgPrayer: Dear Lord we thank you for your promise that where two or more are gathered in your name that you are there, and that you will answer the request that is being agreed upon. You are a promise keeping God, and you keep your word and manifest your faithfulness each and every day.

Right now we want to stand with our brothers and sisters in Iraq, and we want to ask for a wave of divine help as they begin to rebuild their nation. Extend your favor in a special way over your children, as they step forward to see your Presence and blessing be sown into the foundation stone.

Give them courage, to go and do and say; give them peace to wait and trust and persevere; give them strength and vision to bring about the patterns, plans and purposes of your heart in their land.

Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq in Jesus name. amen.

Oh Lord God, mighty and merciful, Glorified in all Your ways!
You are righteous and always faithful to do what Your Word says You will! We trust You with everything that concerns us Father, knowing You see all things and have all things in Your Powerful Hands…all things are possible with You Lord God. It is your will that all come to the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, that those that call to him won’t perish. Father I ask for those souls in Baghdad, those that are hearing the Good News and are asking “could this be?”,that they receive what we have received. Open their eyes to see clearly, their ears to hear You speak to them and straighten their lame walk Lord, cause the crooked path of destruction to crumble. Lead them into the paths of right standing with Jesus! We ask for their souls. We ask and wait for a manifestation of Your continued Mercy and Grace! Oh Praise Your Name tonight! So be it dear Abba! So be it dear Jesus! So be it dear Holy Spirit! Amen

Dear Father in Heaven, I praise You and thank You for brothers and sisters in Iraq who have already persevered through many troubles, sorrows and afflictions during this past war. May they be greatly encouraged by Your Holy Spirit, and be used by You through future generations to encourage others to put their hope in You. I also give You thanks and praise for new believers that have come to trust You, even during a time of war. May they be led by Your Holy Spirit. May they have access to Your Word and to sound teaching and discipleship, and may they find fellowship with one another and with more mature believers that will give both encouragement as well as challenges to go on in the faith. I also think of those who thought it best to flee from Iraq to seek safety for themselves and their families. Many of these where threatened and abused, and left that nation to avoid further tragedy. May these believers find safe refuge, whereever they are. May many of them be able to return to their homes and continue to serve You in Iraq. May the others find Your will and purpose for them in whatever place You prepare for them. I pray for World Vision that was caring for the refugees for some time. I do not know if their camps are still needed, but if they are I pray for great wisdom and grace for the leaders and workers who are helping the refugees, especially in trying or in changing circumstances. May Your will be done in Iraq, among Your people, to the furtherance of Your Kingdom, and may they strengthen their confidence in You. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.
