7-Agreeing With Believers in Iraq

Scripture: “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

church.jpgPrayer: Dear Lord we thank you for your promise that where two or more are gathered in your name that you are there, and that you will answer the request that is being agreed upon. You are a promise keeping God, and you keep your word and manifest your faithfulness each and every day.

Right now we want to stand with our brothers and sisters in Iraq, and we want to ask for a wave of divine help as they begin to rebuild their nation. Extend your favor in a special way over your children, as they step forward to see your Presence and blessing be sown into the foundation stone.

Give them courage, to go and do and say; give them peace to wait and trust and persevere; give them strength and vision to bring about the patterns, plans and purposes of your heart in their land.

Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq in Jesus name. amen.

    M. Thompson Says:

    Dear Lord:
Nineviah is modern day Monsul or Bagdad, one or the other, and Iraq is modern day Babylon of the ancient past.
A reluctant Jonah went THERE to preach repentence and had a whale of a time!
Nimrod built a Tower that God stopped with the babbling of tongues as new languages sprung forth fully developed and the people’s scattered to the four winds to make brand new nations.

Nebachanezar dragged the Nation of Israel to Babylon for 70 years for captivity. Daniel served there under three kings.
The three: Shadrack, Meshek and Abednego were thrown in the fiery furnace and survived there.
Daniel was thrown to the lions there and survived.

Saddam H. tried to revive all this and failed.
THAT is where our men and women are serving in Iraq today.
Lord, obviously You are not finished with Iraq.
Please protect our American Heros while they do the work given them to accomplish in Iraq. We know that their work is watched over by the God of the Universe and He approves.
So, may your Eyes and Heart be always with them.
In Jesus Name I pray, Amen

Pour our your Spirit as your promised into the hearts and lives of the people of Iraq. Fill them with hope and confidence that salvation comes from the Jews, thru Yeshua. May they humble themselves before your mighty throne and be covered with the blood of the Lamb for eternal salvation and healing. AMEN

    Betsy P. McAllister Says:

Father of all in the Body of Christ, Your son said that those who persecute the Church persecute Him.
Your Son taught us to say, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” I ask You to help our brethren in Iraq who are being persecuted to forgive their persecutors.

Your Son said that we should bless should love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who despitefully treat us and persecute us. Please help our persecuted brethren in Iraq to do these things.

Your son said,”Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you for My sake… so did they to the prophets who were before you. Rejoice for great is your reward in Heaven.” Father, please help our brethren who are persecuted in Iraq to endure, to stand fast in the liberty wherewith they are found, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

  17. 458

Dear Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You for today’s prayer prompt. You alone know the extent of need among the Iraqi people who name Your Name, but we can pray for them to be deeply encouraged and given the strength and wisdom they need by means of Your Holy Spirit. May we hear reports of good things accomplished by Your people in Iraq who trust in You. May they find out and be blessed to know that others are praying for them at this important time. May they not feel forgotten, but look to You and find Your help in every way. May they rise up in that nation to represent You with boldness and to demonstrate the only way to true and lasting peace. May their actions and demeanor be such as wins them respect and opportunity to make a lasting difference in their homeland. May You be praised and honored in all of this. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

    Johnny D. Says:

Dear Lord, Your Miracles abound! ‘As goes Iraq, so goes the world’. Your divine grace washes over Iraq, the country, it’s people, and our troops, as they continue the mission. You’ve proved all the nay sayers wrong, Freedom & Democracy is alive & growing in Iraq. Please let the miracle continue. Let Iraq be the model by which the world will follow, one seed at a time. The middle east has been a cauldron of unrest, war, terror, bloodshed, for thousands of years. If one country can turn the tide to become a model for the world then our sacrifices & time there will have been more than worth it. Belief in You O’ Lord and the wonder of your goodness, mercy, grace, the wonder of Your miracles, can indeed turn this hostile world. Through You, all things are possible. In Jesus name, Amen.

    Amanda Says:

Father I pray for the hearts and minds of the people who have taken over power in their cities. I pray for integrity to reign and wisdom from above. I pray for unity in developing a new standard of living. Touch hearts and lives through those who know you. Raise up a standard that the enemy cannot overcome today.

Watch over Jim, Matthew, Sadie, and Michael as they serve their country. Establish a new boundary in their hearts today so that they will hold on to what is true, right and lovely. Give them eyes to see beyond their circumstances in Jesus name.
