7-Agreeing With Believers in Iraq

Scripture: “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

church.jpgPrayer: Dear Lord we thank you for your promise that where two or more are gathered in your name that you are there, and that you will answer the request that is being agreed upon. You are a promise keeping God, and you keep your word and manifest your faithfulness each and every day.

Right now we want to stand with our brothers and sisters in Iraq, and we want to ask for a wave of divine help as they begin to rebuild their nation. Extend your favor in a special way over your children, as they step forward to see your Presence and blessing be sown into the foundation stone.

Give them courage, to go and do and say; give them peace to wait and trust and persevere; give them strength and vision to bring about the patterns, plans and purposes of your heart in their land.

Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq in Jesus name. amen.

    Heavenly Father,

Thank You for hearing our prayers again this day. Do Your ears ever get full? I hope You never tire of hearing us pray for Baghdad and Iraq because that place and those people are on our minds and hearts. Please bless them today as they rebuild areas that have been torn apart by the war. Especially I pray You would make way for Christian churches to flourish in the land. Please put a song in the hearts of all the people and let them recognize it is a God song of happiness over how You have blessed them with the rebuilding of their nation. You are super God in the bright and beautiful ways You bring about in correction of wrongs. Thank You, thank You and may You be greatly honored and praised for Your active part in making Baghdad beautiful. Through Jesus, Amen

Father – As we have awakened to a new week we have such gratitude in our hearts that we can join with others in extending our thanks to You for what You have lready done, and for what You are going to do. We know that many prayers are still bottled in Heaven to be outpouired at the time needed most. How wonderful that we cn put our full trust in You.

We pray that You will be putting a spirit of leadership in many lives in Iraq and Afganistan as all of this endeavors to slow down. We know it will not be over until it is over, but in the neantime we as believers are looking for miracle after miracle in bringing this to a solution, and in raising their own leaders that will take charge, even giving you the glory for all that has been and is being done in their behalf.

Oh, the blessedness of joining in prayer with brothers and sisters in Christ for brothers and sisters in Christ! We rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.

Your Word, Father, says, “The Lord loves those who hate evil: He protects the lives of His people, and rescues them from the wicked. Light is sown for the godly, and joy for the good. May all who are godly be happy in the Lord and crown Him our holy God.” Psalm 97:10-12. TLB

Thank You Father for hearing our prayers. I join with my brothers and sisters in Christ to lift up the people of this region to Your throne and Your heart. I pray for Your mercy for them. These brave ones who are trying so hard to fight and stand for their liberty and for what’s right. I pray for comfort and strength for the victims of the attacks and the fear and despair it has caused. Surround them Father with Your heavenly and earthly angels in the region, Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey…. I pray for more brave, strong, faithful people to step up and stand up and continue the fight. Come to them Jesus and help them know You. Shed more of Your light in this part of the world. Protect the leaders, the families, our troops. With You all things are possible and we believe that. I pray for eyes to be open, and for those who see and are of good hearts reach out to those around them, their neighbors, their neighboring nations, their families. I pray that even Israel finds themselves surrounded by supporting friends in their Muslim neighbors to the point that they would even fight along side them. Nothing is impossible when You are with us Jesus. Please protect them and all of us from the fire of deceit. In Your mighty name I pray in faith, Amen.

    Janice from Georgia Says:

    Heavenly Father,

We gather together in thought and prayer with our Christian brothers and sister in Iraq and call out to You first praising You and then asking that You would do a major work in the nation of Iraq to let peace finally take hold for good. Please expell the violence and do not let any roots still be in the land to shoot forth again with the weed of violence. Please bless the nation of Iraq with growing faith in You and Jesus. Please let many new believers come on board as they realize what You have accomplished in the nation. You are Father to us all. Thank You Lord for all my brothers and sisters across the globe. You made us all in Your image and cherish each and every one of us. I pray also for the enemies of my brothers and sisters that You would make a change of heart to come upon the enemies and that would defeat violence better than any weapon could ever do. You are so great and able to change hearts so I ask that You would please do that to eradicate violence for all time from Iraq. May Your will be done there and may Your kingdom come quickly in Iraq. Through Jesus, Amen

    Dear Father,
I too want to echo the prayer of thankfulness of Connye who gave you praise and thanks for the safe and happy return of troops in Mississippi. We praise You, Lord, for the safe arrival to North Carolina of a battalion of Marines after their 7-month deployment. Thank you, Father! Thank you for hearing our prayers and for all returning troops. We pray that the innocent citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan and throughout the Middle East will come to know Isa, Jesus Christ, as their Savior. May the freedom that our troops have fought hard to bring result in open doors of the precious annointed oil of the Holy Spirit in the lives of these citizens. As Jesus taught us so beautifully, we pray for our enemies, that the Light of the World would come to them and turn away the darkness in their lives. Thank You for Your goodness to us.

Heavenly Father, I just want to say Thank you for loving us with unconditional love. YOU are the one who reigns on high in all splendor and holds the whole the earth in your hands. Father I have now some verses from YOUR “Word” on wisdom to place into your hands to use on this day.
PROVERBS 9:10 Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in understanding.
PROVERBS 19:8 To acquire wisdom; is to love oneself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.
PROVERBS 3:15-16 She(WISDOM)IS more precious than rubies; and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her(WISDOM). Length of days IS in her(WISDOM)right hand; AND in her(WIDSOM)left hand riches and honor.

Lord, I ask that our soldiers and police receive your Wisdom and to know by your leading all the correct ways to have a prosperious and successfull day. May the Iraqis learn to fear you in love of your word, and receive wisdom from you. Holy spirit give them understanking of the Lords Word and love. Father, help the Iraqi’s to love themselves and require of yur wisdom that they may prosper. May your Holy Spirit give our soldirs and the Iraqi’s your Word, love and understanding on whats to be done for the VICTORY you want to give Iraq. Have them to cherish your word and wisdom in their hearts, and show forth fear for who you are. Father let it be in your will that they will gain victory in their lives. May your will be done Father in Iraq; as you have it written in heaven for today. Father, I pray this now in the name of Jesus Amen

They need leaders who will stand up to the ones who do not want peace. Let there be rebuiding not only of their country, but let their be a rebuilding of their spirits. There has been so much bloodshed Lord and we ask for safety for the civilians in Iraq, for their children. Mothers and fathers should never have to pick up another lifeless child from the street. Loving and Merciful Heavenly Father, I give You praise for the love and courage of the believers who remained in Iraq throughout this time of conflict and trouble, and pray for Your help to be ever present with those who fled to other places out of fear for the safety of their families. Felix Montalvo Says:

    Father God,
I am reminded as in the Book of Nehemiah Lord, How You gave Your Children the courage to build the city and the walls regardless of the discouragement of others that came to disheartened them not to do so. Once again Father Give the People of Iraq the Wisdom, understanding courage and the enginuity and the revelation of your Glory Father, they say that this is the land of the prophets so Father if it is Lord God Let your True Prophets come Forth in the Fullness of Your Glory being manifested and let them see Your Agape Love.
    In Jesus Name.

  23. 327
    Sherrill Says:

Father, I agree with those words spoken here. If one can send 1,000 to flight, and two can send 10,000, imagine the angels we’re dispatching thru prayer central. Father, I command my angels to go out and be instrumental in protecting those troops in the field today, particularly those who have no families or loved ones praying for them. Help the people of the U.S. to consider our nation and those who have sacrificed for her when the time comes to vote for a leader(s). Help them to consider something other than their own selfish wants and needs. We pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen

  24. 326
    Rebecca Says:

“Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

Jesus, Jesus, oh how precious is Your Name! Jesus you are THE corner stone, Our Rock of Ages, and as you spoke to Peter…(Mt. 16:18)
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
Jesus, I ask that You lift up, surround, cover, my brother & sisters in Your body, in Iraq, with my prayers. Raise them up. Give them strength, wisdom, knowledge. Give them a voice. Jesus protect them! The enemy would love to destroy all resemblance of You….but this cannot prevail. We need YOUR, divine intervention. Give them hope, give them a future. Bless Your church in the midst of Iraq. In the midst of a place where false gods seem to have a foothold. Jesus ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Jesus build Your church in Iraq. You are our Corner stone, and you are in place, let the building begin……

“Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq”
    In Jesus name. amen.
