7-Agreeing With Believers in Iraq

Scripture: “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

church.jpgPrayer: Dear Lord we thank you for your promise that where two or more are gathered in your name that you are there, and that you will answer the request that is being agreed upon. You are a promise keeping God, and you keep your word and manifest your faithfulness each and every day.

Right now we want to stand with our brothers and sisters in Iraq, and we want to ask for a wave of divine help as they begin to rebuild their nation. Extend your favor in a special way over your children, as they step forward to see your Presence and blessing be sown into the foundation stone.

Give them courage, to go and do and say; give them peace to wait and trust and persevere; give them strength and vision to bring about the patterns, plans and purposes of your heart in their land.

Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq in Jesus name. amen.

Father, we stand with believers in Iraq and claim their nation for Jesus Christ. We declare freedom to worship openly without fear or ridicule. We declare all militant radical ideologies null and void and dead at the roots. Jesus is Lord of Iraq. Iraqi Christians are blessed and protected and it is evident to all around them. God’s glory is evident in their lives and in their prosperity. All wickedness is uprooted and the peace of God that passes all understanding prevails. The glory of God fills all Iraq. We declare it is so in the authority of Jesus.

Father in heaven, I read in Your word that the battle belongs to the Lord. For those of us who read their Bible, we know that there is only one way to win the battle against the terrorists, is to come to You and lay the whole situation at the foot of the cross. We are in agreement that the battle is the Lord’s so we ask that You have Your will in this battle against the terror that’s in this world now and so we let go and let God. We know that You are the only one who can do anything about what is happening in this world right now and we also know that this wold is coming to an end as we know it. So, Father, we ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God bless all those who are fighting in the front lines today for the freedoms that we have now and I pray that You send Your angels to protect them. I pray that the people of the United States of America will support our troops and I ask that our government officials will support our troops and send the funds that our troops need to complete the job that they were sent to do in Iraq and Afghanistan so they can come home. I ask Father, that You bring all the darkness to light. Father, thank You for Your love, grace, and mercy towards Your people. It is in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ that I pray. Amen and Amen. Father, I ask that You bless each one who are praying for our troops and the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel and the U.S.A. and other countries around the world with peace, joy, love and compassion for others who don’t know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Help all of us to be good examples of Jesus in this world of darkness.

    Luanne Says:

Abba, Father, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for providing us access to you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Lord, today we lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ in Iraq — both Iraqies and American. Lord, we pray that you would give them strength in their inner man today — that they would be strong in spirit. Lord, we pray that you would give them all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that your grace would be sufficient to them. Lord, we ask for your protection to surround them like a cloud. We ask for your Spirit to hover over them. We ask that they would hear your voice and that your Word would not come back void, but that it would bear much fruit. Lord, we ask that our brothers and sisters in Christ would walk worthy of the vocation you have called them to. Lord, we pray that their persecuters would encounter you, the living God, and that those who would persecute them would now be for them. Turn away their enemies, O Lord. Wipe away all of their tears and may they that have planted in tears come back rejoicing bringing in their sheaves. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

    Lynn Says:

Father God, as I pray with my brothers and sisters, my heart cries out their words to You also. Yes, sometimes I feel like our prayers are word worn also – as we request of You day after day. Yet You listen – in Your Word You have promised that our requests go to Your ears. Thank You, Father! Thank You that You are faithful, that You are trustworthy, that You are almighty and omnipotent, and can do even more than we could ever ask or even imagine! Thank You that You have given us the grace and mercy to know You. We request that You would knock on the hearts of the Iraqi and Afghanistan people – yes, and even the terrorits! – and that You would, by Your grace and mercy, give them hearts to listen and understand anc come to You. Oh, Father, while we wait for Your will to be done, protect our brave soldier heroes while they serve to protect others. Give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding and protect their bodies, minds and hearts from all harm. In Jesus name I pray these things. Amen and Amen.

    Lily Says:

Lord God, thank You that as believers in You, we can all be in agreement with You Word, Your Covenants, and with Your Commandments. Lord I thank You for watching over our Troops ( in Baghdad), and for keeping them safe, in Jesus name.
Lord I am still waiting for a miracle to happen in the lives of the Iraqui people; they have suffered from the agonies of War for too long.
Our military personnel and our Civillians have suffered too long from this Iraqui war.
Lord, unite the believers in one (Accord), this day, June 7th, and hear all their (Corporate).
Lord, Heal the Land in Iraq, in jesus name,

    Henry Newberry Says:

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Father, think You for Your love for a lost and sinful world. We were once lost and You found us and called us out of darkness and into the love of Your Son Jesus. Think You Father that You gave us a mandate to do something that is far above our ability to do on our own strength.

Father, as we stand within the BPP message board, posting Words of life, it is like being there in person. Jesus tells us that His words was spirit and they are life. Therefore, as He is in us and we are in Him, then by the power of the Spirit within and by faith, we take spiritual authority over the city of Baghdad, speaking against the spirit of darkness.

I speak life and life more abudant into hearts that are open. I speak life in the dark places where Your Spirit may be waiting to reveal light to a wounded heart. Your perfect love casts out fear to bring hope. Father, I call down and into the wounded hearts the Power of Your love for the lost and confused minds. I call down the Spirit of faith into hearts that have already been prompted by the Holy Spirit to receive Jesus as savior.

I speak by faith, a shield upon the soliders protection from the darts of the wicked one. I speak a hedge of protection of the Love of the Father, the breastplate of rithteousness of Jesus, and a helment of salvation (Holy Spirit) on each one. By faith, I place the word of God within their mouth, so that the tognue would become their weapon. As they walk, let them walk with their feet covered with the preparation of the gospel of peace within their hearts. Thank You Father, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank You Lord for keeping Your Promise to never leave us or not listen to our cries for help and comfort.

    Jean Says:

Loving Father in Heaven, I want to give You glory for Your faithful servants who have endured war, violence and persecution in Iraq because they trusted in You. Many of them have suffered under great stress and have experienced profound loss. I pray that You will help them today and make them an instrument in Your hand to help bring about the healing of that nation. Please protect them from harm. Please be their shield and their strength. I know you can do great and mighty things through these who have been refined by fire. Dear Heavenly Father, there are also many who fled the country in fear for their lives and those of their families. I pray that those believers might find sanctuary in the place they are now living and be strengthened to return and help with the rebuilding effort. May these things be to Your honor and praise in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

    Rebecca Says:

Oh Yes Lord….I agree with thour prayer for today, with every fiber of my being, heart, mind, and spirit. Today Lord as I began to worship, praise Your Holy Name, and pray…. I heard the words “WAIT on the Lord” “We wait.” I believe those words go perfectly with the Prayer for today. Lord your timing is PERFECTION. You are never late, but always on time. I get in a rush. I want things too soon. My heart aches hearing, seeing the lose of life, innocent people dying everyday in Iraq & Afghanistan. Our troops Lord, oh how I cry and pray over them. How greived I get over loose lips here in the US. The condemning tongue. Lord forgive us! I want change Lord, not the change politions call change, but Godly change! So today Lord, I will Wait upon You! I will give you Glory, I will lift on high Your Name, Lord Jesus. I will wait and believe All things we have prayed in agreement, will be done, By YOU!

    Jer 14:22 –
Can any of the foreign gods send us rain? Does it fall from the sky by itself? No, it comes from you, the LORD our God! Only you can do such things. So we will wait for you to help us.

    Ro 8:23 –
And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us.

Ro 8:25 – But if we look forward to something we don’t have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently.

    Ro 15:4 –
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. They give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises.

    Ga 5:5 –
But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive everything promised to us who are right with God through faith.

    Lord I will wait!

Strengthen and encourage your church and all those who will be finding You; the Anointed One;Jesus Christ our Savior and soon coming KING of KINGS! Amen

    Betsy P. McAllister Says:

Father, I give thanks for the beautiful prayers of Your people. And I pray the Apostle Paul’s words over our family in Iraq: “For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus, for whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.
May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality],
May Christ through your faith dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,
That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth of it; [That you may really come] to know [practically for yourselves] the love of Christ which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being]unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His]power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes ,or dreams] – to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Eph. 3:15-21.

    Janice from Georgia Says:

    Heavenly Father,

Those who are believers in Iraq are lifted up to You today by the Baghdad Prayer Patrol for Your special blessing to be upon them. You know, Lord, the heart of each person in that nation. You are aware of the true believers and You hear their prayers and know their concerns. We gather together with them to multiply the vibrancy of their prayers. Please respond favorably to their requests in particular on this day so they will know without a doubt that You are seeking their good and looking out for their future. Help them always to keep their hope in heaven and to know that You are always with them when they go through difficult days until their day in heaven comes to be. You are such a good and wonderful God who is quick to hear and respond in times of trouble. Be there in a moment for any one of the believers who calls out in need to You today. I pray Your will to be done, through Jesus, Amen.
