7-Agreeing With Believers in Iraq

Scripture: “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” -Gal 6:2

church.jpgPrayer: Dear Lord we thank you for your promise that where two or more are gathered in your name that you are there, and that you will answer the request that is being agreed upon. You are a promise keeping God, and you keep your word and manifest your faithfulness each and every day.

Right now we want to stand with our brothers and sisters in Iraq, and we want to ask for a wave of divine help as they begin to rebuild their nation. Extend your favor in a special way over your children, as they step forward to see your Presence and blessing be sown into the foundation stone.

Give them courage, to go and do and say; give them peace to wait and trust and persevere; give them strength and vision to bring about the patterns, plans and purposes of your heart in their land.

Thank you Lord, that when we approach your throne of grace, that you have promised to release your grace and mercy to help in time of need; shower Iraq with fresh rain, release healing winds and the dawn of new things. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and we bless the strategic nation of Iraq in Jesus name. amen.

We know that Christians in Iraq, Afghanistan and Darfur as well as Burma are definitely in the category of ‘Persecuted Ones’. Lord, hold the tide against the evil ones who not only stop their peaceful lives but also instill Your love, joy, patience, faith and hope in the evil doers so that the middle east may turn to You and only You. We praise You above all.

Gracious Father, thank you for you grace most of all. Thank you for the truth of your word. You bring hope to the hopeless. You open the eyes of the spiritually blind. We must plant and sow the seed, but you and you alone give the harvest of souls. That is our prayer today, that you will give us the chance and freedom to sow the seed of the word and then wait for the harvest in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan. This seems like a daunting task, but nothing is too hard for you the creator of the universe. We ask also that the seed of the gospel be sown among the military and police who are protecting the people. Let these men and women find rest and peace in you. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

    Dearest Lord:
I thank you and praise you for this platform that offers up daily the prayers of the world’s saints for Iraq, it’s progress and safety, and our American finest, our USA Soldiers. We are less without them and miss them so much. Giving a great sigh of relief for each individual soldier that returns.
Dearest Lord: Please accept the prayers of your saints and answer them from on High. For you are high above all these problems. So high and yet so near. You see it all up close and in it’s entirety. You KNOW. You SEE. You FEEL. I am certain that every Soldier’s slightest concern is also yours for you say in your Word, “In all their afflictions You are afflicted.” And someday it will be over.
Someday Jesus will say to all of you, Saints and Soldiers alike: “Step forward you who prayed, and you who fought for righteousness sake; be recognized by the Great I AM for service well done. Enter in to the joy of My Father’s House.” But keep praying for now!
In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

Dear Loving Heavenly Father, I pray for the healing and restoration of Iraq. Heavenly Father, may this be a true healing that not only endeavors to keep people from harming one another, but one that creates an ordered state where the citizens can prosper and live in safety, without fear. May it not be an oppressive state, as some are, where people’s rights and freedoms are severely restricted and tied to an oppressive ideology, but one in which the citizens endeavor to work together for peace and for the common good. Please give great understanding and skill and a heart of wisdom to leaders and governors who will have responsibility to establish the restoration of that nation. In Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

    Father, Majesty on High, we call upon you to fulfill Your Word on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ in Baghdad, Iraq and Afghanistan today: “The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble. The name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
    send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice. Selah.
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel.
We will rejoice in Thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set u[ our banners: the Lord fulfill all thy petitions.
Now know I that the Lord saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His holy Heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of our God.
They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Save, Lord: let the King hear us when we call.” Psalm 20:1-9.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Father.

    Lois Lively Says:

Father I come again before your throne of grace and thank you for your love and Word. I come to ask that you would guide the ones in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Israel you have hidden in caves to come out and fulfill your love, grace, mercy, and most of the Word. Those that you have called to be Davids, Elijah’s, Elisha’s, John, Paul, Hannah’s, Esther’s, and Daniels to be bold in the Holy Spirit and speak forth your will and purpose for the people and the land they live in. Bring forth your LIGHT AND REVIAL to these countries to break through the strongholds of the enemy, and to put a stop to the darkness the enemy has kept them in. Light and darkness does not go together according to your word. In the Holy name of JESUS I pray this now and give you glory and honor. Amen

  22. 278
    Lois Lively Says:

Gracious Father, I thank you for this beautiful day given to realize how wonderful your handidwork is. Thank you Lord that we as Americans live in a country that loves you and we live in freedom, because of your love for America and the blessings you have bestowed up us. Lord I give you Word on Wisdom and ask that you would pick it up and apply them to the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, an the Middle East.

Proverbs 4:13-16 Happy is the person who finds wisdom and gains understanding. 14 For the profit of WISDOM IS BETTER THAN SILVER, and her WAGES are BETTER THAN GOLD. 15. WISDOM IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN RUBIES; NOTHING YOU DESIRE CAN COMPARE WITH HER. 16. SHE(Wisdom) offers you life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. Lord God I ask that these words be given to the believers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, and the Middle East. Holy Spirit embed these words into their hearts and minds. Give them the boldness of the Lord to tell others of His Love. Speak to the the four winds Father and let them rain down from heaven the peace, love, joy, and comfort of the Lord. Give these people the power and authority of your precious name. Bring healing to the people, waters from the fountain of life, and allow them to see you restoring their land with beauty by your hands only. Lord I pray that the Holy Spirit will empower the soldiers, and the soldiers of the mentioned countries. Shower them all with the Holy Spirit, your presence, and with blessings. Encourage them to fight on for freedom and peace. In the name of Jesus I pray this and declare them done and give you praise and glory for hearing this prayer and the others today. Amen

  23. 277
    Amanda Says:

Let’s not grow weary in believing God to perform his perfect will for this country and the people who call upon his name. Like those who held up the arms of Moses lets keep holding these people up to the throne of God. I pray he will be the refuge for those in need of his protection.

I lift all of our soldiers to you for comfort, protection and wisdom.

  24. 276
    Rebecca Says:

Oh yes Lord, I agree with this prayer. Lord the burdens our fellow Christians are bearing is a heavey load. Father raise compassion within each of us “The Body of Christ” to pray & lift up, and for some to carry the burden.
    Jesus said in
Mt. 11:28 “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light.”

Provide a way, a way of escape. Provide rivers in the desert. Rivers of living waters, Your Holy Spirit, Lord, in this dry & thristy land. Plant mighty oaks around and about in this Body of Christ, where there roots go deep. Lord,”I declare this in Your Spirit!” For when battles come, when winds blow, THEY ARE NOT MOVED. For they are grounded and strong in You, Lord. Lord send Mighty leaders, who are without fear, to establish Your Church within the nation of Iraq. Again Lord I hear “REVIVAL!” So be it!!

Lord I ask that you send hoads of Angels to Iraq to mark the believers, and protect them as Your Divine will is being established. Thank you Lord for the grace & mercy You extend to each of us. Sometimes we are so underserving.

Lord provide a shield of protection around & about our troops, to deflect the deadly darts coming from our enemy…reveal the source! Defuse, blow them up, before they hit the mark. In Jesus Name.

  25. 275
    Ruth Johnson Says:

I say Amen to all the prayers that have been offered to our troops, Baghdad troops and the people.
