14-Unity For Leaders

Scripture: “…How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! …For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life for evermore.” -Psalm.133:1-3

tribal_leaders.jpgPrayer: God, we call on Your name and we want to recognize that You are the Prince of Peace, You are the God who stood in the gap, and You have shown yourself faithful for mending the biggest division of all, and that was the gap between us and You.

Therefore we know and believe that nothing is too difficult for You. You are the God who makes a way, when there is no other way. We lift Your name up over the various tribes and religious factions in Iraq.

In Jesus name, we bind the devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy, and resist all his efforts to sow seeds that create friction and frustration. We ask for grace to mend instead of tear down, to rebuild instead of destroy.

Honor the hearts of the leaders Lord and release a fresh wave of hope to strengthen their resolve, so they can work together towards a brighter chapter in their nation’s history. Lord, together we are asking for a special season of divine visitation, that Your mercy would linger over factions and fractures, so that life giving solutions can emerge.

We know that division is natural but unity is supernatural, so we ask for a release of supernatural enabling that would empower the hearts of the policy makers to team up together. Let healing begin, let new hope arise on the horizon of Iraq, we agree together before You dear Jesus. Amen.

    Dear Father in heaven
Thank You for all You do for our military, and for our civillians. It is because of Your grace and mercy shown toward a Nation that love you, and yes despite the sins which we often commit , You know our hearts are turned towards You. Thank You Lord!
I come before You this day asking for Victory for our men and women, over in Baghdad; and Lord please include the rest of the Middle East region.
I lift up Your name as The Great banner for our troops; That You go before our Troops in each and every battle being fought.
As Psalm 20 verses 1-5 Declares:
    1. May the lord answer you in the day of trouble;
    May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
    2. May He send you help from the sanctuary,
    And strengthen you out of Zion;
    3. May He remember all your(prayers)offerings,
    And accept your burnt sacrifice.
    4. May He grant you according to your (prayer Intercessors) heart’s desire,
    And fulfill all your purpose.
    5. We will rejoice in your salvation (victories)
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
    In Jesus name,

Father, help us to unite in this country, to rise above petty annoyances, offenses, prejudice, erroneous thinking. How can we guide others when we are in a quandary ourselves? Father we pray for wisdom for our leaders, our troops, those in authority, to end this war and bring peace on earth. We ask in Jesus’ Name

Father, you brought your Son into the world to bring light into the darkness and to give us everlasting life. Thank you that we can run to you our high tower. Your strength never fails. We ask that you give strength to the soldiers who are in Iraq. Help them not to faint. Bring boldness and confidence to the leaders of the government and the police. Give courage to the people so they will stand up for peace and safety. Most of all, we plead with you that when all is said and done that you will cause the doors of Iraq to open for the preaching of the gospel as you did in Russia. Please show mercy to these people. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

Thank you for your faithfulness in preventing the enemey from using bombs to harm innocent people, may their plans be made known and stopped before they can carrying them out.

I bring our soldiers to you this morning and ask you to watch over them and especially Kevin and Mathew. Guard them physically, spiritually and emotionally from the plans of the enemy. Dougie Macintire Says:

Gracious Heavenly Father – we thank you for your righteousness and holiness! You alone are worthy to be praised! We know that the spirits of darkness have reigned over this area of the world for centuries. But Father, NOW is the time for your saints in unity to join our forces together in the spiritual realms to proclaim VICTORY over the spirits of darkness. We stand against the prince of Persia, for we know that the battle has already been won by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world! I join with my brothers and sisters in Christ in taking the authority that YOU have given us to trample on serpents and scorpions and to have all power over the enemy. It is with YOUR PEACE that we crush Satan under our feet! Father, you have raised us up for such a time as this, to be your watchmen on the wall and to proclaim victory as you come to set the captives free. As we submit to you, our Father, and resist the devil, he will flee from us and we will draw near to you, as you draw near to us. I pray not only for our soldiers on the field in Iraq, but for all the prayer warriors who fight with me in the spiritual realm. Protect us by thy might and keep us focused on the task you have called us to. In Jesus’ mighty name – AMEN

    MThompson Says:

    Dear Lord
We know that the Battle is Yours and that good will eventually triumph over evil. We also know that this battle in Iraq is under Your scrutiny and You are well able to fight for the principles of Your Kingdom.
You delight in lovingkindness, justice and caring for downtrodden, the widow and the orphan. These people are promised that You take them up and become their savior, husband and father.
We know that the wars have brought so many of these people in Your care. Thank you for the Soldiers that are doing Your work in that regard.
As these Soldiers, on both sides, do Your Work Lord, please UNDERtake and UNDERgird FOR them as they carry out their daily tasks.
Also please OVERsee today; OVERrule violent intentions today; OVERride decisions contrary to Your perfect will and plans for Iraq this day.
Let this be a day of miracles and CRUSHING defeat of the enemies of peace. Let the SHOUT of VICTORY be in the tents of the Just. HALLELUJA!
In Jesus Name we pray, amen

To God our heavenly Father, a humble prayer:
Lord, we know nothing is too hard for you, and that your mercy rains down on the just and the unjust. Let justice and righteousness rule every heart in Iraq. Let your omnipresence come into our view as ruling over all who are living and working in Baghdad. Our will is so puny–let your will be done. Let all the citizens of Iraq feel the power of Christ. Let justice rule over tyranny. Let mercy and truth be known and reveared. Rule out all hatred, revenge, dishonesty, self righteousness and apathy. Let a zeal for goodness and lawfulness rule in the thoughts of all in Baghdad and let the higher goal of wisdom and brotherly love instill hope in all who look to you. Let fear and all self justification fall at the coming of the great power of the Love that is God. Let us rejoice and persistently pray to see that Baghdad’s government is in the hands of the one who governs the universe and not in the hands of men. Amen

    Melodie Lewis Says:

To God our heavenly Father, a humble prayer:
Lord, we believe our cause is right and just. But just as we pray for victory, there are people who oppose us also praying to you who believe their cause is right and just, that they are fighting a war to insure your reign in their region and the expulsion of what they fear is an evil secular influence. Lord, we know nothing is too hard for you, and that your mercy rains down on the just and the unjust. Let justice and righteousness rule every heart in Baghdad. Let your omnipresence come into our view as ruling over all who are in Baghdad. Our will is so puny–let your will be done. Let all the citizens of Iraq feel the power of Christ. Let justice rule over tyranny. Let mercy and truth be known and reveared. Rule out all hatred, anger, rage, self righteousness and apathy. Let a zeal for goodness and lawfulness rule in the thoughts of all in Baghdad and let the higher goal of wisdom and brotherly love instill hope in all who look to you. Let fear and all self justification fall at the coming of the great power of the Love that is God. Let us rejoice that Baghdad’s government is in the hands of the one who governs the universe. Amen

Have mercy today on our men and women in battle. Remember that they are “dust,” consumed without your intervention, Lord. So we ask that you surround them with angelic protection. May they return whole of body, sound of mind and praising your great acts of protection on their behalf. May those who do not know you “see” what a strong deliverer you are. We love you, Great Father, and long for others to know and praise you as we do. May they acknowledge you as their only real hope, strength and victory, giving you all the glory. And may Your Name be praised as a result.

    Stan and Shannon Says:

O Lord we praise You and we call our troops to your hand! Speak into their hearts that their protection and victory comes from YOU alone! Not by might not by power but by Your Spirit!! May they come undone in any pride and know there strength is only in You! We don’t condemn at all we just call them forth!

Father, Bless and encourage our chaplins and give them an extra portion of the Ruach HaKodesh! Speak into them your words that when You are lifted up all men are drawn unto You. Father we do pray that our soldiers do see the futility of the world’s lust that they are all meaningless!! Use this time to cleanse men from youthful lust and loneliness to be used as sabbadical with You.

Father I pray that these men become Davids! He spent time alone with the Lord and while in the cave the Lord brought the mighty men to him and he led them in valor! They were discontent but became Israel’s leaders. Impart this anointing to our troops and to our chaplins. MAy they follow You and lead in valor and purity and truth!

You are so worthy and Lord we just give you the praise! Thank you Lord for our soldiers and continue the Prayer Patrol over them!

Bless Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem

    In the Name of Yeshua

Father God: I pray that this day the people of Sadr City are safer because our troops are there and the evil ones cannot do more harm. I pray, God, that in Your mercy, You will set things right and give the innocents of this area of Bagdhad comfort in having food, clothing, shelter, and medical provisions. I also pray, Lord Almighty, that Your power is so evident to the enemy, that they cease there evil plans. I pray this in Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen

    Lois Lively Says:

LORD, God Almighty and Jesus Christ our Savior, I come today before you in agreement with all the prayers I read. You reign in all glory and majesty, and I ask that You would give our troops that same strength and couragement that was given to David, Gideon, and Joshua and the victory in winning the battle, because of wisdom and insight you gave them. May our troops receive this supernatural power and strength with gladdness in their heart knowing that its from you.

Lord, God Almighty, I ask that the TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS WILL BE GIVEN AND FELT BY OUR SOLDIERS OVER THERE IN Iraq and in Afghanistan. May all your joy, love, and peace be with them and upon them. Allow heavenly Father the people in Iraq to SEE WITH THEIR EYES all your signs and wonders. Let them see the BLIND BEING ABLE TO SEE AGAIN, THE LAMB TO WALK, THE DEAF TO HEAR. Most of all Father, may they be able to hear your voice speaking to them about eternal life and that Jesus, your Son, died for them also on the cross. I DECLARE FATHER THAT YOU WILL BRING VICTORY in this war to the Iraqis and our troops in the name of Jesus. I DECLARE THAT THE CHAPLAINS WILL speak forth your truth, love, and the spoken Word in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father for all that you have done in answering our prayers and listening to every one of them with love in your heart for your people. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray this now and all the glory is yours. Amen

Thank you for your peace and mercy and, even justice. thank you for subduing the Bathists.

I call against this current oppression of the godly people of Iraq. Lord grant them the power of boldness in the Holy Spirit to speak the truth in love to those who don’t yet know You.

    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Jean Says:

Dear Father in Heaven, how blessed and wonderful You are. Father, You have lavished upon us (the Apostle Paul’s words) so many gifts, yet so often we forget to thank You. Please be blessed with our humble thanks today. In the words of a song, we know You are merciful because the sun came up this morning. Help us to remember Your goodness and to honor You. I want to thank You today for those who are working so hard to bring about the peace and stability of Iraq and of Afghanistan. Please undergird and enable their efforts to bring about good results. Help them to stand firm for what is right and to press on until they have reached the desired conclusion to their efforts. I praise You for every sacrifice made, for every instance of self-denial, and especially for every heart that has yielded to You in the midst of this conflict. May we hear soon of increasing resolution of the difficulties of those nations and restoration of their citizens. In Jesus’ dear Name. Amen.

  25. 149
    Jane Zock Says:

And Lord, I agree with Alice and ask that for these dear ones in Bagdhad that are new believers – that you would send to them seasoned believers who will mentor them and teach them your word. Please Lord, do not let the seeds that have been sown fall on dry ground and be wasted, but let them have a drink and some pruning and sOnshine to help them grow and feed others your everlasting truth. Thank you for the greater work you have done in Iraq and not only in the hearts and minds of the native Iraqi’s, but those service men and women who have met you through this war. You don’t waste any time, thank you that you watch over your word to perform it concerning everything we commit to your care. You are awesome Father God!
