14-Unity For Leaders

Scripture: “…How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! …For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life for evermore.” -Psalm.133:1-3

tribal_leaders.jpgPrayer: God, we call on Your name and we want to recognize that You are the Prince of Peace, You are the God who stood in the gap, and You have shown yourself faithful for mending the biggest division of all, and that was the gap between us and You.

Therefore we know and believe that nothing is too difficult for You. You are the God who makes a way, when there is no other way. We lift Your name up over the various tribes and religious factions in Iraq.

In Jesus name, we bind the devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy, and resist all his efforts to sow seeds that create friction and frustration. We ask for grace to mend instead of tear down, to rebuild instead of destroy.

Honor the hearts of the leaders Lord and release a fresh wave of hope to strengthen their resolve, so they can work together towards a brighter chapter in their nation’s history. Lord, together we are asking for a special season of divine visitation, that Your mercy would linger over factions and fractures, so that life giving solutions can emerge.

We know that division is natural but unity is supernatural, so we ask for a release of supernatural enabling that would empower the hearts of the policy makers to team up together. Let healing begin, let new hope arise on the horizon of Iraq, we agree together before You dear Jesus. Amen.

    Ann from AL Says:

Father, I come into agreement with my brother, Wayne. I agree that Satan’s attempts to undermine the work of your people is bound by the name and power of Yeshua. We loose the good work of your Holy Spirit in the lives of those living in Iraq and Afghanistan who are seeking TRUTH. Empower the leaders to stand strong for what is right and strength and encourage our troops with your Word and grace to support their hard work. Bring them home safely with victory. AMEN

    Mary Says:

Yes, Father, open the eyes of the leaders to understand that they have an enemy in the unseen realms who is prowling about seeking whom he may devour. Open their eyes to understand that what they fight on earth is truly a spiritual warfare that can only be one by joining side with the Victor, Jesus Christ. In Your mercy, Lord, shine the light of your love on them and grant them to understand the good news of Jesus Christ and receive salvation. As their hearts are one with Yours, may they then be free to seek unity with one another and break the hold of the enemy.

    Joan Gintella Says:

Lord, I come in agreement with my brothers and sisters in Christ for unity to come to Iraq and Afghanistan. Bless and protect our soldiers and dispatch your warring angels to contend with those who would contend with them.

I ask for you to bless and protect America and Israel. We ask for your grace and mercy and for salvation to be spread all across our lands. In Jesus name, Amen

    Sharon W. Says:

Lord, we faithfully bring before your throne again the nations of Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran. The forces of darkness threaten the very existence of Israel and the United States of America. The men and leaders of this dark religion want to keep other men, women and children in bondage to a false system of belief. Who would have ever thought that Americans would stand by and let this happen to our country and Israel. Your word says you are the life and in you is light and the light shines in darkness but men don’t comprehend the light. So we bring before you the darkness today and ask that you open the hearts and minds of the leaders of these countries that they might see the light. You brought salvation down to all men if they will only believe. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

    Jean Says:

Dear Loving Father in Heaven, I give You grateful praise because You do all things well! Hallelujah! I rejoice to remember that all things are in Your hands. You are in control, even when ungodly individuals think they can defy Your Word and Your counsel without consequence. They do not know that You are giving them time to repent, that You are very merciful, and yet absolutely holy. You will not overlook sin. All actions in opposition to Your Word are sin, and as You have taught us, even ungodly attitudes are subject to Your judgment. Yet, You have declared Yourself to be unwilling that any should perish and have stated Your desire that all should come to repentance.

Today’s prayer prompt is such a good one. I pray that You will bring into being the things that are requested there. May we soon hear good news of how strategic individuals in Iraq have put aside their differences and disputes in order to work together for the common goal of peace. May Your people be especially wise in this so that there might be effective unity, and not division, in the body of Christ, to Your honor and glory. In the Holy Name of Jesus Who earnestly prayed for Your children to be as one(John 17). Amen.

  25. 499
    Betsy P. Says:

Father, we are asking for supernatural unity among the leaders in Iraq. Today, I read an article about how some Jews in Israel have discovered that a very high percentage of Arabs are descended from Jews who were forced to embrace Islam centuries ago. This could be true of the Arab peoples in Iraq, also.

Lord, I ask that You would supernaturally reveal to the Arab people in Iraq which ones are really Jews. Bring down Islam, I pray, and bring unity to all people of the earth in the knowledge of Your Jewish Messiah Jesus.

Be exalted and glorified and magnified over all the earth and in heaven today, Lord. We lift our love up to You Who loved us first. In Jesus’ name, amen.
