14-Unity For Leaders

Scripture: “…How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! …For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life for evermore.” -Psalm.133:1-3

tribal_leaders.jpgPrayer: God, we call on Your name and we want to recognize that You are the Prince of Peace, You are the God who stood in the gap, and You have shown yourself faithful for mending the biggest division of all, and that was the gap between us and You.

Therefore we know and believe that nothing is too difficult for You. You are the God who makes a way, when there is no other way. We lift Your name up over the various tribes and religious factions in Iraq.

In Jesus name, we bind the devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy, and resist all his efforts to sow seeds that create friction and frustration. We ask for grace to mend instead of tear down, to rebuild instead of destroy.

Honor the hearts of the leaders Lord and release a fresh wave of hope to strengthen their resolve, so they can work together towards a brighter chapter in their nation’s history. Lord, together we are asking for a special season of divine visitation, that Your mercy would linger over factions and fractures, so that life giving solutions can emerge.

We know that division is natural but unity is supernatural, so we ask for a release of supernatural enabling that would empower the hearts of the policy makers to team up together. Let healing begin, let new hope arise on the horizon of Iraq, we agree together before You dear Jesus. Amen.

    Luanne Says:

Yes, Lord, we beseach you for unity in Iraq. Lord, we ask that Iraq would be one as you and the Father are one. Lord, we also cry out to you for Israel. Lord, we know Osama Bin Laden has cried out for jihad against Israel. Lord, free your people. Lord, we know that you are a supernatural, all powerful God. We ask that you would divinely protect Israel and the United States of America and our troops around the world. Lord, we ask that the ‘changing of the guard’ in the White House would not bring a fresh fire to the enemy. Lord, put out the fire that cries for violence. Lord, we hear the taunts of the enemy, and as in the days of Nehemiah, Lord, we stand our posts on the wall and ask that the places broken down in America would be built back up. Lord, we pray your kingdom would come and your will would be done both in Israel, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanastan, Pakistan, and in the United States of America. Lord, we ask that you would visit those who have a tendency toward believing lies from the enemy to participate in any jihad. Lord, we ask that you would visit them with dreams and visions and may they know the one, true, living God. May you send your word, the truth, and may they be set free. Lord, I ask for a shield around America in these days. Lord, let not the enemy attack us for your name’s sake. Lord may you prepare the way of your coming. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Thank you Father that our hearts on this site seem to always be in agreement. Unity is on our hearts this day. Only you, Father, can draw men into unity by your precious Holy Spirit. Even if they don’t know you, Lord, you can still direct the course of their plans. Cause the division to dry up and the leaders to come into agreement. Block the attempts of the evil one to break apart this country for its own purposes. Open the door wide for TRUTH to prevail, dreams and visions to show the WAY to Yeshua who will bring peace and unity into their hearts. Father, may your plan prevail over the evil one’s. AMEN

Yes Lord, I come in agreement with Wayne and the Baghdad Prayer Patrol that in Jesus name we bind up the devil who comes to kill and destroy and who does not want peace in Iraq, Afghanistan or anywhere else. We boldly ask you to bring peace to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan who are tired of watching their families slaughtered by the enemy. Lord, most of these terrorists aren’t even Iraqi, they come from terrorist nations to kill and destroy and they obey Satan. Lord Lord, we need you more than ever to show your mighty hand to the enemies of peace and we ask that you continue to protect our precious soldiers from all danger and all harm and to protect the innocent men, women and children in Iraq and Afghanistan. Lord, let your light shine upon these people and we pray they come to know you as their Lord and Saviour. In Jesus precious name we pray, Amen and Amen

    Jean Says:

Dear Loving Heavenly Father, I pray that today You will bless and help each one who is willing to work for peace and stability in Iraq, and throughout the Middle East. May it be Your will that is done, not the divisive purposes of the enemy of our souls. At Christmas the angels proclaimed peace on earth, but we have yet to see that ultimately fulfilled. Yet today You are at work through Your Holy Spirit helping individuals to rise above their sinful nature and to do what is kind, as well as just, enabling and promoting peace in their sphere of influence. May we soon hear of peace, healing and reconciliation becoming the prevailing standard throughout Iraq. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

I stand in agreement for unity this morning not only in this country but in ours as well. I ask for people to come together in the cause of Christ and in no other. I ask for love to once again flood both countries so doors can be opened to work together. Thank you for bringing light to the deeds done in darkness and bring judgement to the deeds that are not of you. Clean both countries and remove the wicked from among us.

I pray for our soldiers that your truth would be the banner and rear guard. Thank you for your protection and for your wisdom. In Jesus name I make these requests.

In light of President Bush’s visit to Iraq today, I pray that the transition from turmoil to peace would be unhindered by the natural transfer of power in the U.S. Give wisdom to the Iraqi leaders to see the shift in power as a sign of freedom and democracy in action and to desire to move towards an even greater freedom in You. AMEN

Lord, I ask that You bind any and all spirits which are not of You, in Baghdad.
Lord, I pray that Integrity be restored this day in the lives of our military leaders, as well as other officials, in the name of Jesus.

    Janice from Georgia Says:

    Heavenly Father,

I pray Your hand will be on the leaders in Baghdad and Iraq to bring them all together in their thoughts. Bring them so close together that they will be able to see each others point of view. Fill them with empathy for each other. May they each consider the needs of their neighbors just as important as their own needs. May there be times of fellowship for the families of the leaders so they can develop some deeper feelings for each other. May they all understand that they are all made in Your image and have more in common than not. I pray that You would reach into the hearts of the leaders and plant a seed for Jesus. May they find love developing in their hearts for Jesus. I love You Lord and trust in Your ability to do these things I ask if they are within Your will. May Your will always be done on earth as it is in heaven. I pray through Jesus, Amen
